Doesn’t really matter that Bai-din Xi FICUS with all the rest of the Circus behind cages stole an election. Why? Because we let them get away with it. (like they accuse of us despite overwhelming evidence they are still breathing (or whatever it is that represents respiration in that species)) We haven’t surrounded the swamp with armed militia demanding ‘redress of grievances’, and a majority still act like ‘voting at them harder’ is gonna do it in 2022 or 24,,,
Yeah. All I do know is that in the meantime, shits gonna get a lot tougher, more expensive, and flat stoopid in fraudulance.
Example: I mentioned in a previous post that I was getting hit on my credit report with a bill I had never been sent, from a place that I had a ‘paid in full’ receipt from. Well, I argued it with Transunion and today recieved an ‘itemized’ list of services rendered. Yeah. $1465 for physicians services of which he looked at my gumline and write two scrips for pain and antibiotics. The time of his shift was 10pm to 8am. 10 hours. So I get stuck paying the nightly salary of this one Doc for 5 minutes and two scrips.
Think I’m whining? Do the math. Round it off for simplicity. $1500/10 hour shift. 4 nights a week average. Thats $6000/week. Times 52 weeks a year. Thats $312000/ year, for a general ER physician. There are skilled surgeons that are lucky to hit that number.
But whats really the point is that they hit as many as they can and hope a few will pay. Insurance cuts things down to a percentage of whats billed so the physicians groups pad the billing trying to make up the difference.
Why do they do that? Because Government has mandated certain procedures get X amount (medicaid and medicare have a HUGE influence over pricing across the board) and others may not get anything but the docs hospitals and all that have to track literally everything and more nurses are hired, not for medicine, but to handle the paperwork and adminstrata of dealing with government regs.
How much malpractice insurance costs would astound you. (Its certainly did me when Doc Craig told me what his overheads were.)
So what am I going to do about this bill? First, talk to the hospital where I payed the original bill in full and have receipt of such. Find out WTF? so I have a better ground to make a decision from. Second, contact this Physicians group and find out why I am being billed for an entire evenings salary for one doctor for an entire 5 minutes of nothing that a nurse couldn’t have handled if she were permittted to write scrip. I may be able to negotiate it to a much smaller gouge of my finances. IF that works, get the Collection agency to clear the books with a big FU from me.
It doesn’t really hurt my credit score, but it doesnt look good either. And I hate seeing shit like this pop up when I have been meticulous on all other counts. (It really helps to get an actual bill FIRST, before it gets sent to collections and surprises you. Thats just complete BS, especially since the collection agency had zero issues sending me that ‘itemized’ list, but didn’t EVER send a bill.)
On other fronts. Steel prices have gone up 31% in February, and another 23% in March. Welding gasses always follow a similar curve, so my job just got more expensive across the board, with no increase in profits. Add insult to injury, KY just added another hazmat tag for Argon, so now when they deliver anything to my shop, we pay three hazmat charges before we even get anything off the truck: Argon, O2 and Acetylene Hazmat are all charged to us, even if we didnt order any!!!! Mandates from state of Guv Andy for ya. (And some people wonder why I totally despise the turd in Frankfort,,,) (and those charges are applied even if we go to pick it up,,, wtf???)
There are times where ya just wanna throw your hands up and quit trying. It certainly doesn’t pay well anymore. Recall my question in another post; ” just how much are YOU paying in taxes?” I tried figuring out once and when I had totaled out over 60% in fees, surcharges, payrolls, sales taxes, property taxes, school taxes, fuel taxes, electric phone internet provider surcharges etc ad nauseam,,,,
Seriously, you wanna get flat fucking pissed off? Try to figure it out and realize that BOHICA is a day to to day existence for most of society, even those that are on the dole.
Nothing else matters,,, we are off the tracks and the wheels are coming off. And I am saying “fucking let it go!!!” We are already the laughing stock of the world with Slo-Jo Bai-den being puppeteered as Corpse to be in Chief, and who knows what they will have Kamalaladingdong up to when her turn comes around.
Let it fail. Its gonna hurt, but damn it, it already hurts just watching the Country I love fall into this banana republic.
