Seen a huge spike in visitors to YeOlBlog/Diosworkshop the last couple days bleeding into a week now. Check out this screenshot.

Every day the last week. So either someone has a decent VPN goin’ or someone found a hole in the Silk Curtain.
Drink up Ladies and Gents of Mandaria, Grab some of links about Freedom and Anarchy, and maybe toss some spice in the mix of your ‘leaders’.
Came home a wee bit early. Found the array was feeling a might sensitive and was ‘Hunting’. Glad I came home, that slamming back and forth could have hurt something. Minor adjustment to the angles of the sensors (suggested by maker as first line of defense) and things settled down right quick. Still had a few degrees of angle before it hit it’s western limitswitch, and I watched for that. Never saw it ‘flinch’; just a subtle ‘rrrrrr’ as the motor/gears worked, and done. (the gears in this actuator are straight cut, and WILL make noise, no matter how well lubed they are. Just the nature of the beast. FYI, the noize in that earlier vidclip: the microphone in my phone is way more sensitive and the noize seems much louder than reality here.)
So I’ve been cleaning up the kludge wiring, probably be finished with it tomorrow. Taking my time, want things neat and tidy, but still able to be accessed if needs must.
And I’m stealing some Memes. Fred mentioned a “Right to Repair” meme over at BoilerDocs and I stole it fair and square. IT IS TRUTH, and the modern manufacturers should heed its words.

and then there are the memes of a more adult nature.

Ladies, I’m not much on your thing, personally, so sorry, y’all have to do without.
Change direction: BlooTwuck did perfect today. No wyrd over-heating thing. Usual cold morning stuff where you can see the T-stat open and the temp plunge as the cold ass coolant from the Rad changes location. She’ll do that twice before she hits full op temps. I’d let her do warm-ups in the drive, but she is a bit of a pig on fuel and at near $4/gal,,, no, I want those octanes doing WORK. I do baby her until she is up to temp. (if you call my driveway ‘baby-ing’ LOL But thats abusive of suspension, not really the engine, until you are climbing UP that drive.)
Zoe ShopKat is doing well. She finally figured out she has climbing pitons on the ends of her extreme ends. Was demanding my attentions and climbed part way up my leg. Kittens can get away with that, KATS can not. I’m just glad to see her settling in and doing Kat-things now. She is comfortable enough in her digs that she started bathing. That requires full kitteh attentions, and can’t be done if some one is on high alert 24/7. She’s making the shop her home. And I’m her chosen bond-buddy. Took lunch today, and she immediately crawled into my lap and was knocked out solid in a few seconds. Granted, after the chaos of the mornings, getting everything together for the out-going crews, I am IT at the shop and she counts on that. But she plays pounce with the other guys in the mornings. She isn’t shy. (except with certain Dawgums.)
I’m glad for her company during the day. I hadn’t realized how much of a mind torture shop days can be without four-footed companions. Bear-bear and Rufus passing over the Rainbow bridge this year, really brought that point home to me. (and I miss that pair something fierce.)
————- Yeah, not much to talk about. Just doing the “live life” mode, dealing with stuff at home, Trucks, and making sure my four-feets at the house are content.
y’all take care, Love y’all

BIG. Problem being, I can’t tell if if its a trend, or just one person digging through archives. There is another possibility of an AI agent digging through the archives for some reason. Fact: I have no way of knowing in any of the above cases.
