Fur-now. Wiring is a complete kludge of ‘plug this here, run that there, and ‘lo-amp’ jumpers to power the controller. Did that as a failsafe ‘just in case’ jumpers rated at 1A, controller fuse rated at 8A. If somethings gonna burn, it will most likely be that jumper wire.
Set it up off angle from sun, triggered it and recorded. She hits the limits and stops. You can see the slop as it stops moving, and I am quite OK with that. Could add a set of springs or shock absorber sort of thing, but fugget, it moves and stops as it should. (note: this thing should move slowly enough, A time lapsevideo would be needed to show you its movement through the day. I will know if it works or not by the position it sits in when I return home.)
And tomorrow is trial run. Leaving things as is (wiring kludge) to see if it does as advertised, or blows that jumper. If she passes, I clean up the kludge and tuck and wrap wires. And I have an external inline fuse I will add to the power feed of the controller. A little extra precaution.
But as of right this evenin’, Dio happy!!!
The wiring clean up will be a nuthingburger.
Back to the mines tomorrow. Y’all take care out there.
