Strange muhnday

Not that anything bad happened, just odd.   Floated through the day, fixed my powered gate issue, did some gate makin’ once I returned, and that about sums it up.

And WordPress (delenda est) keeps adding ‘add block here’ to my page while I’m typing, and its botherin’ me,,,  Grrr    That ‘glitch’ isn’t doing any work, its just right smack dab in the middle of everything and irking me.    This to shall pass,,,

strange day.   Dood returned to work today, and not a thing was said to anyone about Fridays fiasco.   No apologies, no mentions, no nuthins.   Like the whole thing never happened.  

good enough for me.   (though, one Emp did say something to me along the lines of “he can dish it out, but sure can’t handle it being handed back to him”.   ayup,, my take as well.   that was the most I heard about it.)  

Solo day, solo on run to gate, solo at shop: my sort of day.  Hard to get people pissed off by being an asshole when I’m IT,,,  Oh, I can piss myself off plenty, and do, but it takes effort and that was not on the agenda today.   

But I did get a surprise.   Son of Bossman sorta did have one reaction to Friday(but not because I pissed off a dood with thin skin.).  He let everyone know that we are now going to four day work weeks.  No more fridays.   Fine by me, that opens up one day for those times where i must be off to deal with legal eagles and such.  Now, if I can get Da’s Docs to cooperate and only schedule his  trips for Fridays,,,,   ROFL,,, yah, right!

and it also means that our days either got longer or our hours got cut accordingly.   I managed a little more than 8 today, but the rest of the crews came back at 2 and split.  Their loss.     I could have stretched it out to 10, but then I might not have anything to do tomorrow.  (waiting on parts out of Florida for that vinyl job.   We were shorted 6 pieces that are mission critical.)   So, I do have some shop work lined up to get the day going, probably be able to get some more work on that flatbed if things look sparse.  

I’ll get hours, just where and how remains to be seen.

i’s muhnday, I truly have little to add to the fray.   One thing of note, I have been getting hit in the algorithms with ‘truths’ that aren’t mainstream.  Like what happened at OPEC meetings in the mid/late  70’s,    Or Matt Bracken posting up images from Yemen, and showing how they aren’t exactly a desert country or just a bunch of rebels running around gunning everything down.

Little things, little things that add up to “well now!, that puts a slightly different spin on reality”    Not sure what all to make of it yet, or if I even should.   So many things “we believe that just aren’t so”   thanks  in large part to government controlled education and Media bias.
