Tursday into Freeday

Still lots of traffic here at ye Ol’Blog.   Coffee’s still on the counter, so my new readers aren’t into that Dark, triple brewed stuff that strips paint if left unattended.

Not much to talk about in the world.   (S)Election cycle in full swing, early voating in some places (like here) and things are all over the place depending on what format you choose to read.   Me, I’m just watching.  My choices are already made, but I won’t cast my voat until ‘The Day’.

and my heart just isn’t in it.   Feel more like I am ‘doing my civic duty’ with no point behind it.

But thats the real rub, ain’t it?   Civic Duty.   Something that was taught as principle back in the day and now is adrift in the eddy pools with no real support of the realm.

Not gonna jump on the soapbox here.  Just an observation that what was, is decidely feeble in this day and age.

in other words: the foundations have been eroded, and that, is right in line with the fall of other great empires in history.

I just keep living, keep pooling the knowledge, and keep working on me, for those days that may or may not come, when what I know will likely be the coin of the new realm.   And to teach those things, because then, People will desire to know them.   Now, not so much.

only yes, it is. I get paid for what I know and how I apply it, so things really aren’t all that different.  It will feel different though.   (especially the demand for teachers thing.)

Gonna take  tomorrow slow.  I didn’t ‘park’ the array in the morning position as I have done the last couple nights.  I want to see how it does, without my interference, in the AM.     I’m not expecting surprises, but am prepared for such: this is an entirely new tool to me, in my arsenal of electron collecting.   Will see.

much like we will see how the current (S)election cycle unfolds. (I won’t hold my breath for either side of the Uni-party to actually ‘do the right thing’ no matter how it plays out.  Thats the why for my apathy with voating.  I know I am not alone.)

So, long weekend for the Ol’ Dio, not much on the menu for things to do (other than the scheduled “pull Buffalo apart, prepare for engine swap”.) so likely won’t be an exciting weekend of poast-toasties either.
