Wall of wind n rain barreling down on me,,,,, (no time for pics then, getting set up for an ass whuppin) 0ne really big and hard sweep with my skirt buried in the water on the outside of the sweep, and I am pointing straight into whats coming, grab my bearing, and dig in,,,
BAWWHOOOSSSHHHHH!!!! 25 KNOT WINDS!!! WATERFALL RAIN!!!
Shit came straight outta the north and that rain was CHILLED. I dressed for the occasion, but that first dousing WILL take your breath away!!! Waves capping all around me, chaos ensues,,, digging in and pushing into it is the best move in this case

Just that,,,, some nice swells, pitterpatter of rain on the deck, and the winds are down to 4, maybe 5 knots. Carry on!!!
Wind came back as I passed that leftward point, but the swells had had a chance to get established and were just taller than Lyssa and very uniform. Easy digs,,,
Wanted to go further, but that wind is wearing me out. I still managed my average speed, but it was at cost of energy levels,,,, Being out here solo, gotta watch it
And the wind is getting stronger as I tap this out.
Ya might recall the last time Icame to this spot; someone had dropped off two dawgs? Still here,,, someone brought a dawghaus down here, and they are being fed since they arent skin n bones (one week without food and a dawg is bone thin,,, seen it too often here)
I can’t take em in,,, The shelter near here won’t (by appointment only) dammit, people piss me off sometimes,,,,

Good on ya Dio! Old Mother Nature smacked me down pretty good today too out on the Cali Central Coast! Biggest waves I’ve personally encountered in quite some time, with sharp drop offs and sheer faces…Mother don’t play!!
