Dunno, sounds mighty temptatious right about now. Especially seeing frost webs on my office window. House is a comfy 80° with the woodstove ticking along happily, but the second Voo nudges in, instant plummet. And you know full well that both, he and Grumpykat, have called a truce so they can both snuggle the stove as needed.
Onother fronts, that whole HR127 thing keeps riving around. Gropey passed along that congress needs to get off its thumbs and do sumpin ASAP about those evil guns and weapons of war. (And that truly shows his ignorance of things but I will leave that for later.)
What they dont see, or do see and choose to ignore, is the perturbations growing in the darkened alleyways of the webs. RTWT, and follow the comments thread as well. Thats one of the least caustic ones I have seen.
Tam has a take on it that I agree with to. “Party politics today is a race to the boxcars; first team there gets to make the other team ride.” Sure does seem that ways some days, and even I am guilty of dehumanizing those on the left. IMO, The poly-tickians have already wrote themselves out of the human race by recent events, but the divide between street level left and right is becoming that race she describes. If this keeps up, itsa gonna be fugly.
But I think its also going to be inevitable. Those that stole position have had opportunities to make things right. I said way back in November: if they had nothing to hide, they should have allowed a full recount and accountability of all the votes. Not doing so showed they were in full thrall of the Con and couldn’t back off. Team Trump had plenty of chances of pushing this same point but chose to play ball even when the courts were so incredibly guilty of collusion.
Now, they keep pushing the narrative, talking unity out one side and spme very Nazi-esque monologue out the other.
And most on the right are still hitting the warning buttons saying “you do not want to go down this path”.
Yes. Yes they do. They may not understand it fully, but they want us to push back so they can “get on with it”.
So, as the story title of old ‘something wicked, this way comes’, something very wicked is headed our way and ain’t a one of us in control of it except at a personal level. Not even the shit-tards that keep hammering the ratchet, trying to make the right squeal. Let the lawless pass ‘laws’ making our personal self-defense verboten. We do not have to comply. If you know you live near quislings, move, or make certain your personal property is off their radar. And if you aren’t certain, find out. If you think you’ll be weak, give your shit to someone that won’t be and do so in such a way as you do not know exactly WHO you gave it to. Fake a papertrail by offering a homeless person or crackhead $5 to sign a blank receipt that you later fill in makemodelserial#. It may not be needed, but if they come asking (first level tyranny) you’re covered. They do not have the personnel to do door to door at this stage, and in many places the local PD Sheriff etc is gonna slow walk this like the FIbs did declassifying information.
But DO NOT COMPLY. I can’t stress enough that we need to start using THEIR rules against them. They abide by the law when it benefits them and totally ignore it when they choose. We need to do the same. And honestly, there is not one thing I have seen coming down the pike that isn’t a smack in the face of the entire American public. Not one, and these asshats dont give a damn. (Another reason I am certain ‘the fix is in’; they have no fear of retribution in the vote now.)
