I remember, too. Was working outside of Beantown at an Intel semi conductor plant. We heard about the 1st plane, then stupervision (sic) decided to shut ‘er down just in case. Got back to the hoose (just a few minutes away, rental with Junior and I) in time to see the 2nd plane hit, and everything after. Much wetness about the eyes (and rising blood pressure!), more because of anger than anything else.
And here we are today. Too many good folk passed on the 11th, then way more through the sandbox wars. Dam shame all that American blood had to be spilled! Thank God my only Grandson came through 4 tours with only 2 Purple Hearts with the 82nd, and a head fulla demons. Mighty glad I could help him vanquish the dam things, I am!!
Iz whut it iz, I suppose. One-a deese dayz! Po-lit-i-kal stuff all over the map, these days. All we can do is keep on keepin on, while being as ready as possible. Nuff said – dusty in here.
