The Labor Day poast-toastie.

Started early, trying to get a section of the garden cleared off while the sun is still over the ridgeline to the east.   Shadowed for now, will be a sweltering mess in a few hours.   Another tank of 50:1 down, just wrapped the third spool of line for the trimmer  (and why I am taking a break, not bein’ lazy.)

Doin’ backed up laundry as well.  Have two big comforters that have needed washed, but kept putting on hold for whatever reason.  (honestly, I kept forgetting.  I had put them in a big tote and ‘out of sight, out of mind’.,,)   Winter coming on, get the stuff clean and ready, right?

Forced day off from the J.O.B.   Usual routine, day off, no pay, so gonna be a weak week ahead.

Don’t like this socialist holiday.   Never have.   Its right on the neck of my hatchday, and was always the indicator that the school year had started and there were 9 months of hell forthcoming.    Then in 2001 we got the 9-11 mess that flipped the world on its head.   So much right around one point in the year, and I’ve always had negative views of them.  (me hatchday is just another pin in the calender anymore,,,   Even as a younger dood, I wasn’t much for celebrations.   Keep it simple and low key, FINE.  Start making a big deal about it and I would retreat to the woods. (or under the kitchen table when I was 5. LOL)

58 revolutions around the sun.   And the upcoming two years appear to be even more loaded with fun and games on the world stage.   I could provide links to the economic forecasters prognostications of Dollar Collapse, or the prognostications about ‘we are in WWIII’, or point to the fact that a third world (Iran is not actually third world, but they hadn’t been top tier either) and a fifth world country recently handed the American Navy its ass.   The world is shifting fast and hard.   The main players are changing ranks, and while yeah, we may experiance a full on economic crisis, We won’t be wiped off the map.   The list of those countries that recently had failed economies are still players in the game.  Argentina, Turkey, etc etc.    Maybe not MAIN players, but those in D.C. may wanna look at the reality: we really aren’t anymore, either.    We fell into the trap every empire prior has fallen into.  We got cocky.

We can maintain our contrarian ways, be the rebel thorn in the eyes of the world, but unless we humble up, get our shit straight in our own borders and government back on its leash; we will become more like The U.K. with a figure head King and a parliment that looks more like the Middle east and Central Asia: not English.

And here comes the real rub.   Us whitebois are gonna have to man up and start saying “NO”.    Every thing around us that we all despise yet tolerate out of civility, needs stomped on, HARD.   Mothers killing thier kids and a jury hung by ONE person with a sense of reality.   No-Go zones in major cities that don’t speak the language of the country nor recognize its laws.   Shit like that, GOTTA GO!!!   or it will fester and metastaze into a cancer we can’t purge.

and probably ain’t gonna happen, because ‘we just wanna be left alone’.

I get it, I’m in same boat with my hiding on this hill trying to create some little resemblance of what has worked for the history of humanity: Self reliance.

time to get back to the labors of the day.  things to do, weeds to assault, ditches to dig, and pride to be built in a most humble manner.   Get the fingernails dirty and callouses rubbed raw again.
