took a couple of days, but I finally was able to move Buffalo to her surgical stall. Ol’Gurl is getting really hard to start if she sits for more than 24 hours between starts.
I’m done torturing her. She is in place so I can start tearing things down at leisure. I have one of my old solar panels from the RV in place as a trickle charger for the battery ‘just in case’. And it won’t take long to get to ‘she ain’t moving for some time’ in tear down. Still, keeping a battery hot is not a bad thing.
I was hoping she would hold out just a little bit longer: sadly, her sitting has done horrible things to a well aged motor. As a daily driver, her quarks were subtle in growth. Sitting, they compounded quickly. But I knew it was coming; thats why I have an engine sitting on an engine stand waiting. Now it’s just “Time”,,,
Lots going on behind scenes here at the shop. Nothing needs addressed on the front page, but know, I am probably going to have some skips in posting as I take care of business on the outside.
ANybubbaloobywhutzits,,, Its hot, I’ve drenched three shirts already, and Tomorrow is going to be ‘shop day’ at the J.O.B. Delivery of welding gas and wire coming in. Today was a short day as I ran out of gas fairly early.

Yeah… sometimes you gotta deal with support stuff before you run bead. I thought i was ready to weld my box blade. My little wire welder kept bouncing off the thermal limiter. So dig out the buzz box i got for $25. Two days of piddling later I think I’m ready to work. It worked alright until I kept tripping the breaker. OK, good enough for now suddenly ain’t! So go round up stuff to fix that… I’m tired of this project! I wanna run some bead! I’ve measured, I’ve cut, I’ve drilled and I’ve ground. I wanna to hear the sizzle! I wanna make the puddle! Dangit! It’s just too stinking hot to fight this hard.
And my fishing license expires at the end of the month so there’s that to deal with too.

Moar work in getting set up than just making sparks and flashes. Set up ain’t nearly as neat as actually doin it and seeing the results up close and personal, is it? Gotz to be done tho, or the sparks ain’t a-gonna happen!
As to The Buff – she’s definitely earned a new en-jine fer shure! Mighty good when ya have a setup like you have, where you can build the new one on a stand afore ya start wrenchin on the old one, ain’t it?😁

Still shade tree, graveled drive carport. But! She’s there now and wont move again until all is repaired replaced. Much like prep for weldin’, gotta do it, and done right makes ths end so much nicer/stronger.
Buff has been a good gurl and deserves more life: I’ll give it to her.
