Found it, after a bit of walkin’ highway, SIM card is functional, and likely the memcard too,, only, thats in an encrypted state and the new phone acts like it doesn’t exist.
Shit tons of pics and files on that beast.
Including the files for wings, BUT, I haven’t been using the phone to update those files,,, thats all on the MAC.
Tonight is chasing lost apps, trying to sort out that whole password thing, (three times, declined,,, go to reset password,, “You can’t re-use your last password” GARRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!! No shit, has happpened twice now.)
and here, I was thinking I needed to back up my phone data over the weekend
and didn’t Of course.
Sigh.
Gonna try to pull the memcard out and see if the Mac will let me see anything on it. Not likely, but hey, worth a shot. Otherwise, thats a Terabyte card that isn’t worth doodly. Well, I could reformat it. Not like I have the means to break the encryption on it: wipe it clean and make it usable again.

I could go off on some metaphorical concept about how fleeting our modern world is, despite how overwhelming it is. Na! Gots to finish moving into this new phone.

That stinks! I hate losing photos and contact numbers. I wanted to write them down but didn’t get around to it. Try to find an address book these days! I dare you. I might be able to order one but an actual ‘little black book’ is non existent in today’s American marketplace.
Oh well, I lost all my stuff a month ago. Now I’m rebuilding my contacts. And I knew i needed to pull my photos off the phone…
