A fitting start to the end of year wrap up. Colors are a bit late, but only by a couple weeks. (I went back through old photos from kayaking. Usual start to change is second third week of October and bare trees by November.)
65 ish outside, overcast skies, and amazingly, the array is still tracking: a bit sluggishly, but hey, there ain’t a whole lot of input either.
Moved Buffalo’s ‘new’ block over to where she is sitting currently. Was fun and interesting, moving that block on an engine stand, by me lonesome. Well, Bloo did the muscle, once I figured a way to strap the stand to her bumper. Mechanical advantage is not just levers and pulleys, don’chaknow. Come-a-longs, ratchet straps, and yard tractors help a solo dood out quite a lot. Yard tractor to relocate stand in better position, comealong to snug jer tight to Bloo’s backside, and ratchet straps to secure laterally so no flippy-floppy moves while in transit. Redneck? It worked! Who cares, if it works, right?
Sitting here on porch, tripping out on that array. It just ‘twitched’ and the weather is blah enough for a drizzle. No sunlight worth a dang, but ‘she still moves’.
Obviously, I’m not working on Buffalo today. Just getting things together. Drizzles aren’t conducive to proper wrenching IMO.
And back to the mines tomorrows. One small part of me wants to return to the 5 day week, because these longer weekends make it so I don’t wanna go back. The same feelings I get when I take a vakay for more than a week.
Get me debts cleared and I may just,,,, smokey dreamin’ that-there. I can’t NOT work, its in me blood and nerves.
Anyblubberboozerbitz, I keep tappin’, I’ll be blabberin’ and I have one card that needs played VERY close to the chest right now. (No Jinx!)
