Sonday; clouds with teases of wet

Weather report is all over the place so I’ma guessin’ its gonna be scattered smothered and covered weathers today. Scattered all about, smothering heat, and covering everything in “Ugh!”.

Didn’t really have anything planned today, other than the usual domestics, but found out family is having an impromptu get-together at Unk F’s house. I’m Da’s ride, so no backin’ out.

Instead of digging into the stuff I was thinking about doing (admittedly with reservations) I came home fired up Lappy, Cricut cutter, and opened the interface to the cutter. Cut one small ‘sticker’ just to make sure thing are working in actuality, not just in digital communications. This is a goodness thing. I can cut my own graphics for Bloo again. Still a wee learning curve (again!) because I could NOT find the proper Font to use on this one. It was a test run anyway, was cut from a piece of scrap vinyl, not going to go on Twuck: Font don’t matter, just shows I have more exploring to do in that interface. (and the main point that burns me; the whole set-up has to be online or it won’t work. TF? Again, that Cloud services thing bites this oldskooler in the behind quarters.)

Off-grid solar system is back up to snuff. Solar activity locally? Not so much. But the bank is sitting mid 13’s and with a couple of GOOD sunny days, will be fully recovered. Been running the Genny for Shore-power while doing computing stuff, leaving the battery bank as unloaded as possible. I run ONE load, as batteries do seem to charge better while under mild load. That load is my ceiling fan. It only pulls 1A at the setting its in, so no real drain, but when the sun is hiding behind grey fluffy stuff, its almost too much. Still seeing increase in the V readings, so,,,

Lookin’round the webbies,,, Seems like more and more, I am seeing flat disgust with world events by the citizens of the world. Flock cameras being railroaded out of town by the electorate, not the elected. Elected accepting community vote to remove same, then renegging and whoo-boy, the uproar that caused: I can see some replacement faces in the next (s)election cycle there.

People are getting flat sick of this Daily Colonoscopy we are getting subjected to. Fourth and Fifth Amendments in blatant violation, with the CEO of Flock saying he’s all about democratic process. Yah,,, so long as the process is making him rich as Creosote,,, -snark-

And I know there are even more examples that could be applied. Like the fact that I have to be online to run a “Printer”. Think some database isn’t collecting the information of WHAT I am printing? And from word I have heard, you can’t buy an offline printer these days. (Maybe at the professional office level. I am pretty certain the lawyers wouldn’t accept their printers letting the world know details of clients contracts and such.)

I’ve said it, that about the only way to “Go Grey” is to become a homeless person (but even the FLock makes that hit or miss). Looking on Deflocked, these cameras are everywhere. They are few on the ground in these parts, but I did find 6 in areas I go. Nothing immediately local to me, but 3 in a town near here, and 3 more near Brudda B’s. And as I head north in the state, that list grows exponentially.

Privacy is going to become the BIG Political thing in the next couple cycles, BETCHA! Peeps are getting sick of it. And the data center drive isn’t just about AI, AI runs on processor’s, DATA needs MEMORY, and LOTS of it. Data like what you are printing behind the curtains at home, or where you shop for your various parts to make the bombs,,, KIDDING!!!

but thats the whole point of THIER mentality. They don’t trust people to be good and decent, and when you treat people like scum consistently, over time, that attitude percolates into their minds, and you get REVOLUTIONS OF PISSED OFF AND BELITTLED PEOPLE.

I’m sure Louis XIV and Marie Antoinette could hold one hell of a Seminar about the effects of ignoring the voice of your people. Only, they lost thier heads over that very thing, sad,,,,

They say ‘its to combat crime’, and that sounds good to the Joey and Jane Normal that don’t actually pay any damned attention to statistics or ratios. NOR does it combat abuse by the end users. There is growing evidence that FLock is being used by LEOs for stalking and other nefarious things, certainly not researching criminals doing bad things: more like enabling LEO to become the criminal with a badge.

And you can assume that there is more than a little pocketing of money going on behind scenes. The Fact that a group of elected reversed course after being overwhelmed with votes against this thing. No, they’re really on the up and up and this is “For your own Good”.

The real problem is language, ain’t it? I mean, there are levels of education involved too, but it boils down to flexibility in words themselves, ie, the language.

Interpretation: from whose perspective? That is more telling than the actual interpretation in the long run.

Like in history, we are trying to interpret those clay tablets, and yet we have no concept of how a Babylonian or Assyrian looked at the world around them. Yeah, the basics, food shelter, water, fam and friends,,, but how DEEP were their religious convictions, How deep did religion dictate their daily existence. A modern priest won’t heve the same impetus to interpret a passage of the bible as a monk or priest from Constantines era would.

And in Politics,,,, We the People do not look at the world through the same lense as the poy-tickian. We seek better results. They seek re-election. The twain will never meet in the middle, only during campaigns, like kissing cousins behind the shed.

Its Sonday, go, decompress, relieve tensions, go to church or have a beer with a buddy, whatever, But live a little, don’t sit here and read the drivel I shouldn’t be writing in the middle of the day.
