Files for Wings have been recovered!!! Complete, no losses.
and the solution was so “in my face”,,,, I just went to Amazon and downloaded my property for editing.

Still wanna get into that harddrive and find what all is sitting in limbo, but the stress factor of losing Book Files is gone.
and yes, I am creating several backups in places both in the cloud and in more permanent ways. (I even ordered 5 author copies in dead tree.)
And Dio, the scribbler, gets back to work soon. Talking to AI on how to clean it up, (not letting them do the work, that ain’t my style. ) and I have a couple of ideas already. Wanna let them ferment a day and do a couple re-reads and let the Muse kick in. No promises of “when” but ‘soonish’.
Side note: If you bought the Kindle version, you will automagically get the new version when its released. Dead tree doesn’t work like that, unfortunely.
