Hot, damned hot, Frellin’ Hot! Was soaked through by 10am. Didn’t let up, even with breezes, which were few and fleeting.(I run wicking shirts that, with a breeze feel like the AC is on, but if no breeze, ya just get WET.)
August is comin’ on fast.
and soon enough, I’m gonna be complainin’ about the cold, or the falling leaves, and bare trees making the world seem dingy and depressing.
Don’t like the weather, stick around five minutes, It’ll change.

I teased myself at the lake last weekend. Buff is free and clear of the muck and mud now, but I didn’t take Lyssa off her racks. Maybe a short lake trip this weekend,,,
Next weekend (24th-26th) is potentially a Pigeon River run with Duct Tape family. Sadly, its looking like it may be a bust as obligations and duties seem to be taking a toll on attendence promises. In my case, I may end up getting some side gig work, and honestly, that needs to take precedent right now. Those bills are getting knocked down, but I am not at all happy with the percentage of debt to credit. Gonna take a minute to get where I want to be, and am getting there, but some months the improvement feels sluggish as F! Short term sacrifices for long term results are in order.
Shop work at the J.O.B. has been tedious, not just due the heat. Bossmans pupper caught and killed a Possum behind the building, in a place I can’t get to.(if I could, I’d bury it) This heat, humidity; that thing is stinkin’ to high heaven and when the breeeze blows ‘just right’,,, UGH!! hinder the gag reflex, don’t wanna puke while welding.
With this heat, it won’t be stinkin’ long, but man, while it is,,,, nuff said, eh?
Cosmos is depressed. His GF is in Doggie Jail for a couple weeks as she is in heat. His wrasslin’ buddy in lock-down: he acts like the world is a purgatory right now. No clue how to perk him up: I don’t wanna do much in this heat after a full day in it at work. Been holdin’ off mowing until dusk when the temps drop because of it. (do the yard in stages, still sweat, but not borderline ‘knock ya over’ heats either.)
yup,, gotz nuthin’ much to talk about. Waiting on parts to finish Computer upgrade, and thats about the highlight of my week. Pretty typical workaday duldrums: one foot in front of the other, slow progress forward sort of week.
