I’m runnin’ head on swivel this weekend. Seriously, if anything were to go sideways, a Nation celebrating 250 years would be a likely time for it to take place. Probably nothing locally to me, but in the bigger places with more people congregating,, yah,,,

and its also one of those weekends where the readership will be sporadic or non-existent, so Slow poasting ahead. May just drop in and say “Hola, sigo aqui!” and not much more. (whutcha t’ink this post is LOL)

Gonna be hot, y’all stay hydrated (and that means more than just the adult beverages,,, gotta have water and electrolytes too.) Stay cool as cucumbers as you can. I’ll be busy: has a couple side gigs lined up, and the moving of stuff as well, so bizzy bizzy bizzy. but not gonna kill meself either. Still need to finish giving the weeds a haircut, but thats a late evenin’ thing when its drier and the sun is not assaulting me with Maserbeams from on high.

I gotz nothing about the world at large. Just keep your eyes open if you get out and about, stay safe, hydrated and cool. We’ll chat more as the weekend rolls out.

Head on a swivel – that’s the best that can be done – and if’n y’all hafta make a run, make sure yer packin! Mikee iz a-gonna keep his azz planted in the hoose, fer sure, just me and this crazy azz pooch. It’z a-gonna be crazy enuff ’round here! I’ve acshully decided to turn on the idiot box long enuff to see the festivities – usually only turn it on just to stream movies or tv shows from the ‘puter. Looking forward to the various festivities, too! Even gotz my special flag out – a Betsy Ross 13 star derivative with ’76’ in the center of the starfield, and simulated tea stains all over it (tea party dontcha know) – it’s classified as a ‘Bennington’ flag. My favorite version!

And, yer correct about the timing fer sumthin bad to happen! The 250th will be a huge magnet fer the bad guys. Yepper, Mikee haz plenty of supplies, so as not to hafta go anywhere.

I too was out mowing the weeds yesterday…so stinking hot , my machine decided to boil gas in the carb…vapor lock city it did…time to retire en casa and drink a cold cervesa…Corona o course !
