Off the J.O.B. and doing the bankin’ run, pickin’ up parts for gig tomorrow, gets a call.
Doods from Moving company wanting to know if I still want the building moved today?
Hell to the F! YES!!!
Meet up with them to guide them into my place (Maps will getcha close, but still not quite there. Getting better, Used to lead people to a 50′ highwall and tell them it was a road.)
It took the boys some goosing things around, and some improper moving of stuff in my yard to clear passage, but,,,,

Thar she sits,,
And I told Da, “It ain’t moving again!” Its mostly storage intended for his stuff, but this thing is plenty big enough inside for a small workshop, and that will be later as Da whittles his stuff down. (or the other thing we don’t like discusssing.)
12’x20′ interior dimensions. Wood floor over panels and treated framing. Insulated panels wall and roof. DO want to get some ventilation setup going as the metal walls will ‘sweat’. And some lighting. Its dark in there.
But nowz, Dio gets to unwind for the eve,,,,
Beer thirty peeps!
More laters/tomorrow
LLLLL!

Excellent outcome! And we even got a picture.

Most excellent outcome. The two guys running that mule were flat expert, and very professional, polite, and respectful in ways I am not used to from the younger generation in these parts (and no, they weren’t ‘from’round here’. and likely illegals, though they spoke flawless english.)

With some adjustments I could live in that! My current detached home office is 12′ x 24′ and I practically live in it.

There has been recent regulation (TN and a couple others) against ppl making these into ‘tiny homes’. Building regulators hatez ’em. Because it bypasses all those pesky permits ans inspections. If a property has a pre-existing septic system, instant stealth house and no permissions rqrd. LOL

It’s hard to control a population that you don’t know exists. The drive to be free and independent leads to stealth parking and boondock camping and solar power and off grid under the radar living… Why next thing you know people will be working for barter and paying in cash!
We can’t have that, they’re liable get all kinds crazy notions about freedom and liberty!
I tried to keep a straight face while I typed that. Honest, I tried.
Seriously, people want to escape government control and they’ll go to crazy lengths to do it. I did, and I was quite happy living in a camper by the lake and paying my rent with sweat. If I can sell this place I’ll do it again too!
