Gettin’ a little perturbed with the other crew-leader being a putz and playing the ‘I wanna raise’ game. (I don’t know that is his intention, but he’s done this a few times before,,,)
This AM, I needed to make a gate, had the opening size, did my math and cut it ALL WRONG,,,, Didn’t realize the error until on site hanging said gate and realized what I had done, and could even remember looking at the tape and marking it all wrong; and not catch it.
No biggie, we drive right past that area tomorrow and it won’t take but a couple minutes to Hang the corrected gate in place, (I did that as soon as I returned to shop.)
T’is the principle thing. I was scatter, smothered and covered this morning thinking about what we needed fo the jobs we were going out to, and what tools I needed to grab outta BLoo, and
Yah,,, Dio did a dummy,,, Shit happens. Son of wasn’t really mad about it (at least he didn’t sound as such when I talked to him)
And I still have this monster gate awaiting build on my welding table. 46′ long so it hangs outside quite a bit as well. And totally in the frellin’ way of everything. I am neither a God nor an Electron, and can’t be in two places at the same time: I’m good, T’ain’t that good!
It’ll happen, but when remains to be seen. Depending on weather and truant Crewleaders, I may end up working on it over a weekend. Not prefered, even Son of despises the idea of weekend work. BUT, ‘the show must go on’
Building mover coming Friday eve. Deals worked out. I ain’t gonna sweat or bleed to get this building moved, or, won’t sweat or bleed moving it, but I might sweat or bleed in the payment process. Leave it at that, don’t need to elaborate anymore. Nuff said on that.
At least I’m seeing hours now. (J.O.B. thing) and I am getting little piddly side gig things going too. Cleared an AC drain on a Tahoe for $10, took about 3 minutes of my time. Doing a Ignition lock cylinder on a Tacoma some evening this week. ((part just came in)) Simple stuff, but irritating to customers and thats a goodness thing for me. Easy is nice though doesn’t really rake in the money, but it builds word of mouth, and word of mouth is EFFECTIVE. (good and bad, but I strive for the good.)
In other words, Dio has been a bizzy boy. And as you saw in my post earlier, not idle in mind either.
I never am idle in mind, even if my hands are.
Anybadgerbuttskis, I has another long day tomorrow, either way a long day even if other Crewlead shows, and its gettin’ late.
