Welcome to my brain. It’s messy. It’s interesting. And it’s all connected if you stick around long enough. "Believe Nothing: no matter who said it, even if I have said it, except it agree with your own reason and common sense. Siddhartha Guatamo, the Buddha.

if’t’weren’t crap luck,,,,

Wouldn’t have no Luck at all.

Ok,,, let me clarfify this little bit: what follows is NOT Fiction,,,, Make of it as you will.

Payday of the J.O.B. not bad, not great, so-so actually, Stop at bossmans bank to cash the check so i can deposit cash in the ATM for my bank. (otherwise, the check takes till mid-week next week to clear.) Head to Fuel up as its twenty cents cheaper here in town vs where I do my banking. $57 fillup, 14 gallons, 171 miles since last (come us just shy of 12mpg)

Aw, the heck with it,,, buy a damned Ticket Saul,,, (old joke reference, if ya wanna here it, tell me in comments.) Do a quickpick, one drawing,, Throw the dice.

The numbers had a good spread, even came back with 2 drawings (one main drawing and ‘second chance’ drawing) $5,,, Means I don’t get a happy meal,,,,(LOL Like i would eat that crap,,,)

Feelin’ good. Joking with self ‘this’uns the winner’,,, Put in my overhead with all of my twuck paperwork, registration, insurance, etc. I put it behind them ‘out of sight, out of mind’ till tomorrow (drawing is tonight)

Head to bank in next local town. Getting ready to cross bridge near J.O.B. and hear this fluttering noize, and about the time I react to it, I HEAR AND SEE that Lottery ticket take wing, and I see it in the side mirror,,,, Can’t stop,,, Gotta get across bridge to turn around and there is some heavy (for this area) traffic.

Head back,,,

I walked both sides of that highway,, looking in culverts, weeds, bushes, rockpiles, on both sides of gaurdrail, That thing is likely wedged tight to someones grill, and they’ll find it and,,,,

This is typical luck of my family,,, You KNOW, because that thing blew out of my Twuck, it was the Big winner. We don’t have bad luck, we don’t have good luck, We have crap luck that keeps us afloat, but never gives up the “good stuff”

Or, I could say, because that it was tucked in TIGHT behind the twuck paperwork, THAT DID NOT BLOW OUT,,, Universe sent a Gremlin to monkey with it so it could blow out becasue “Now is not his time for reprieve “” I dunno for certain, but I’m gonna take it that there is a purpose to my being near destitute at this time in life. NEAR, can’t say I am destitute, as I have property, two hicles and tools that are equal or in excess of value to both trucks. My ‘destitute’ status is self inflicted by being up to my schnoz in debt for the chance to turn this thing around.

Whutchatado? Me, I’m gonna laugh about it. Its just the luck of the family: same as it’s always been. And I pray, that if someone finds it, WINS BIG, that they recall how they came about such, and pass some of it along to others in need. There are plenty of Give-send-Go’s out there.or other charities. Heck, they could give half of it away and clear their tax burden for quite awhile.

I can’t say I had any plans for it,,, Fact is, I do have an idea of the first things to do: get a lawyer, an accountant, and a block of Insurance. Other than that, tentative strategies that would be to make it a working investment. I have no desire for the latest and greatest whatevers,,, I like beater trucks and my little hovel. I might make the effort to find a better location, but my home would NOT be some mulilevel McMansion.

But that shit ain’t gonna happen when Universe sends the winning ticket packing into a maelstrom of highway winds. ROFLMAO.

Anywhhoos,,,, Its freeday, the weekend is as yet unplanned (other than domestics Sonday mornin’) More laters

Satyrday updated: I don’t recall all of the numbers on said flyaway ticket, but I do recall a 02, 54, 63, and that it was a triple multiplier. just curious, went and checked online and NOPES,,, not a winner. Of the numbers I recall, not one hit. And looking at the ‘wins’ file, Not one person hit this round (over 10k that is,,, they don’t list the small wins) I can let this go now: LOL It didn’t keep me up, but there was a nigglin’ imp on my shoulder,,,,,

  1. I’d buy 1000 acres in NW Montana then build a 2000 square foot house and a detached 1000 square foot work shop and no one would ever hear from me and my skweez ever again.

  2. Mine would be 1000sqft home and 3000sqft workshop or 2 2000sqft ones since wood and welding don’t mix well.

mine is just a thousand sq ft house. My shop is only about 400 hundred, I hear ya on separation of wood and metal work. In fact most all real work happens outside and drag the machine outside, especially tablesaw or router stuff. The 12″ miersaw stays inside tho cos of it’s stand / vacuum setup,, even tho dust is rampant. Absolutely no spray painting allowed LOL

I once bought a lotto ticket right after harassing my sister for wasting her money on such, and proceeded to buy one right after she was done. She asked me WTF dude , you buying one for ? Told her, to prove a point…proceeded to light my just purchased quick pick ON FIRE right in front of her. Told her that’s exactly what she does when playing….

(was sure relieved when somebody won it that night, would have freaked if nobody ever claimed it tho lol)

  4. I dont religiously ‘play’ (unless you call my Friday the 13ths plays religious) just gut feels. Might spend $30/yr playing the game. Usually break even or slightly up. (Like last time before this one where the ticket blew away. I came out $4 ahead. Counting lost ticket, down $1 this year.)
Yup. Metal n wood are not friendly. Especially when Im casting stuff, burned a few mold boxes by simple spills/failed pours. Happens, best to happen on sand floor in open air ‘shed’ (saw one idjit pouring on a concrete pad. Turned that clip off fast as I didnt want to see the resulting explosion of detonating concrete.)
