Welcome to my brain. It’s messy. It’s interesting. And it’s all connected if you stick around long enough. "Believe Nothing: no matter who said, even if I have said it, except it agree with your own reason and common sense. Siddhartha Guatamo, the Buddha.

What I grew up with

and WHY I laugh and laugh (and sometmes cry when it gets to be a bit much) at those that are EEEeeeeekkkkK!!!!!!  we gotta,,,,,,

George Carlin,,,,

The last and greatest (IMO) voice from my past,,,,(I can almost hear him in his grave hollarin’ “I FUCKIN’ TOLD YA SO!!!!”)

Should write a book using him as ‘my mentor’ on how to be an Optimistic Cynic,,,

I look back on things and realize just how GREAT my childhood and formative years were.  Carlin for social critiques,  Peart (Rush) for some of the best damned lyrics and Musical influences of all time.

SRV that took Hendrix and RAN with it, made it his own and then some.

And thats just scratching the surface of ‘What made me what I am’    Feelin’ a little nostalgic and BLESSED with my past.

More later today,,,,

  1. Couldn’t agree more! Ol’ George opened my eyes to the “real” world at the ripe old age of 12 or 13, and Rush was one of those life changing bands (as a drummer, how could they NOT have been?!?!)
And SRV? The man was an absolute vessel…touched the the hand of God, or however you might define it. One of the best ever… Ahh, the good old days! Yes buddy, we were blessed to come up when we did, though I didn’t realize it at the time.
