Whoopededed,,,  and smilin’

JUST shy of 15 miles.  Moving average of 4.01, overall 3.86. Top of 5.16

This, in a boat with 30# of camping gear.  

And I did the first 7 without pausing,,,  a couple slow downs to get my bearings,   but didn’t stop.   (Hydraulic pressures forced the first stop, just after the pump house,,,)

Missed all of first 4 miles in recording,  nut I know I paddled them

There is a ‘lull’ in speed around the 2 hour mark.   Met 6 long boaters just getting started and chatted for a few.  Didn’t seem to affect my average any,,, dunno,,,(a little brain dead right now too,,,)

Note to Nic: this is the other reason I hug shorelines,,, the things I find that fast movers never see.

I impressed myself a bit today,,,  not gonna lie about it.   Feeling much better than I expected to be, and I actually pushed harder than planned.   And I am almost loaded up, ready to roll out. A couple items hanging to dry while I strap Lyssa down and Imagonez, , , until next week,,,, and I am already thinking what that trip will be,,,,
