Still in SC, still busting butt on helping sis out, still sweating buckets when out on the open.
And loving it. I like this area, the weather, people, that I can see horizons, not hills,,,
Miss my fur-behbies. Miss Grizz waking me up with his squeaks and headbumps. Miss Mamakat being her usual “feed me slave” self, and Zoomz assaulting my toes. Miss Voo and his evening “backrub” slide down the hill then sitting there woofing at nothing.
I don’t miss work.
Noted to sis that my jaws havent ached all week. I’m not clenching my jaws in frustration, and I hadn’t realized how much I had been doing that until now. Thinking there is no amount of bribery that would justify subjecting myself to that again.
Haven’t even been on water yet. (Planning for an AM launch for a couple hours tomorrow) Heck, I’d taken Serena off the truck, not to paddle, but to open up the use of the truck for hauling furniture and boxes and the like. Just loaded her back on after 5 days of that.
I’ll be headed home in a couple days, after the 4th. Don’t want to be traveling on a holiday weekend. But really wanna get home to my kids,,, dad says they are fine, happy and Mama is doing her title justice. Cant wait to see how they react when I get back. Grizz1 used to have a little dance when I came home, and I want to see if Grizz2 does as well.
