Sorry for not posting yesterday. Long day at work and age crept up like a mangy cur and bit my ass. Shoulder was in a bad way, couldn’t lift my arm much higher than my waist without excruciating pain.
Did the nuclear option of Cazasin and Tiger Balm Extreme and a couple stiff shots of Tennessee Clear and went to bed.
Woke up at 5 am with Griz2 and Zooms laying on opposite sides of my neck buzzing for all they were worth. Apparently MamaKat came in, in the middle of the night and cleaned out their bowl. Cats and dogs are easy, feed the heart through their stomachs.
But, I woke at 5 with ZERO pain in that shoulder. I could still tell it was tender, but the swelled muscles had receded to normal and the pain was gone. Just have ta take it easy for awhile.
New project. Kayak trailer.
Picked up a 20′ trailer for 2 bills, some stick from work and the next couple days will have me adding racks to haul around my fleet. Or shuttling others to points, or,,,,,
Don’t really have any desire to become a shuttle service, but if the pay is there,,,, I am a capitalist after all, money talks bullshit walks kinda thing ifyaknowwhatImean.
I do need to work on the lighting harness. But everything is there, just don’t know what functions as yet. But $200 trailer, where if I were to build from scratch, I’d spend that just on the axle or spindles. This is much closer to reality than a scratch built trailer.
So its another hole in reality that needs money thrown at it, but this one also has potential to be an asset. An asset is something that puts money in your pocket, a liability removes it. I like assets.
More later: the kids are demanding attention since all four have been cooped up at the house this lovely rainy day.
Update: pulling the boat rails, noted sumpin off on the axle bridge. The starboard side has been involved in a bender. Not horrid, but I’m gonna want to staighten things out if I dont want the ttrailer following doglegged and wearing out tires. Looks like disassembly and time on the press wil do the trick. Again, $200 trailer, I ain’t complainin’ !!!
