Macky slows down, I click, macky does stoopid tricks. Back up disc? Yups! No recognized disc slot, eh! Fugmerunnin!

And all because I didn’t see a download in progress until everythink went ‘urk!!’,,, app was downloading full files straight to disc and over wrote something critical

And here I am,,,

Anudder case of analog desire, digital annoyance.

I absolutely detest ‘cloud backups’ but this is getting to be a regular occurance: I may need to reconsider.

Or break down and buy a new lappy that IS NOT a refurbed unit. Sorry Johney A, but this’un is a kludge.
