Lots of speculation and ‘conspiracy theory’ runnin’ round about WEATHER MANIPULATION.

OX mentioned in the last set of comments something that I have been dwelling on the last week or so as more and more are spouting talking points about that very subject.

DISCLAIMER: I am no expert on anything,,, I am a jack of all trades that has my hand in so many different skill sets, I can’t say whats what,,,

BUT, I do have critical thinking abilities.

With that said, I am going to pound the salt on this one and hit both sides of the argument, as best I can, and hopefully, others can fill in any blanks I may have missed.   Like I said, both directions: for and against.

First off, the against.   There is a massive amount of energy tied up in weather here on earth.   That (right now even) you can see nearly 200 mph winds in storm that spans half a damned state (millions of acres coverage) that is droppiing rain by inches per hour,,,   Think about that for a minute.  Figure 1000 watts of solar energy per square meter of surface area, that converts to heat(on land) and evaporation (cooling for water)   That is a conversion of energy into another form.   That heat rises, it carries that evaporative stuff high up, where it condenses, releasing some of that energy it was converted with back into the atmo.   And that collects.   There are currents in the air blazing around, water and evaporative form bumping around, lots of electrons getting bumped loose (Ions) building even more energy (static)   

And all of it is as wild as a raging bull after catching a wildfire spark in his nether regions (sorry Ox, Had to use the analogy)  but MUCH MUCH STRONGER.

SO with that thinking in mind, just how much energy is required to manipulate that?   If you have ever been on a river, fast mover, and IN the water, you have some idea of how much energy water can hold, toss in altitude, gravity, electrical impulses, etc,,,,   Again, I ask; just how much energy would be needed to manipulate that wild energy to ‘weaponize’ it?

I can’t say, this is all mind experiments going on from empirical data a JOAT has accumulated over the decades.  

Now, the other side of that coin.

Say we do have some way of creating low or high pressure zones in ATMO.   Not direct weather manipulation, but just heating or cooling a swath of atmo with control.    We do have a certain amount of knowledge about how weather is created by pressure and temp differences (delta T for the math nutz),,,   If one were to make the assumption that there is some method of creating those differences, then it’s not so hard a reach to assume the same people could direct a hurricane, and possibly even strengthen it overland where normally they fizzle.

And as I was writing this, I recalled a story about Nikoli Tesla and his death, and how his apartment was cleared out of all his notes within an hour of his death (that happened elsewhere).   To this day, the general public has little info on half of what that man was working on, and no one has said, (or will I’d bet) just what was in those notes, what directions his research had been taking.   There are stories of things he had done and was doing, but so little HARD information,,,,  heck, I can mention Tesla in public and most people only think of Elon’s Cars,,,   So few know of the man or his ideas that literally power our modern life.

Who can say he hadn’t found a way to create atmospheric disturbances that could affect the weather (and one of the stories I have heard claims just that, ‘as a side effect’.)

So my thinking on this goes both ways.  I am not falling into the conspiracy trap here, but I am staying open minded about things because “Truth is stranger than fiction” and the last 5 years have shown that the conspiracy people are more right than wrong of late.

Maybe Hollywyrd was trying to tell us something in this climate change fueled liberal shit fest,,, (I actually enjoyed the movie but it was a liberal festivus of BS.)

Then again, another side of the coin.   We just entered a Solar Maximum, with large solar storms and lots of sunspot activity, so storms are going to be a bit more energetic than the last few years have been.   Thats one possible answer, and that could be compounded with the hypothetical manipulation thing too.   I am sticking with hypothetical at this stage,,,,,

I just wonder,,,  IF the truth were to ever come to light, ON ANYTHING THAT HAS GONE OVER THE EDGE THE LAST FOUR YEARS, Will anyone ever be held accountable for the death, destruction and treasonous actions we have been witness to (and shuttered if we tried to speak out.)

probably not,,,, and that causes me the greater turmoil.

But Dio is a happy camper again.

My new Charge controller came in today   and I installed it as soon as I arrived home.   Battery banks MUCH happier!   Those are good numbers considering I ran the bank straight to the panels for a week straight.   The batteries jumped back up pretty quick, and when I ran all the wires and hook ups, the controller went straight to balance mode.

And things are moving forward in Kayak world.   Sewing up Selkie today: started it yesterday, but its slow going.    That fabric doesn’t want to accept a needle as easily since its covered in dry goop.   I get about 6″ along and need a break: these old hands don’t like detailed work that requires force to accomplish.  It’ll be done before the weekend though, and resealed, and then, Dio takes her for a long spin on a lake to make sure I AM SATISFIED with the repair.    Then she can go home to Brudda B.

Also recieved my shipment of new Gelcoat (last had hardened in the can, Guess I didn’t have it closed quite right) and some 2000 grit DA pads.    Lyssa is getting a new hull as soon as I can clear my work stands.   I’ve been hitting that epoxy coating with 60 grit off-n-on all this and last week.  It’s mostly removed,,,    That stuff is quite tough, and I have been finding ‘dips’ in her hull that I musta missed last time we did this.    Thats all right, I figure two coats of Gel on top of what is there and a good session with the fairing board,  those will smooth out even more.   

Short day today at the J.O.B.   thats the only down side to today (and the fact that its muhnday, but hey,,, time won’t stop for little ol me.)  Would really like to get more time on water, but that roof (which wasn’t a leak BTW) and other personally applied obligations kept that from happening.   That whole ‘Gotta adult today’ thing y’know,,,

Avoiding the nets hard today.   I figure things aren’t going to escalate much until around’bout the DST switch.   Better for the PTwB to muck with our minds when we are also off balance by time changes.

Actually, working around the house with old Thrash metal playing on the box,,,   Kittehs don’t like the stuff and give me a bit of peace when its on.   No pestering me for lap/food/rubbin’s,,, they can wait till dark for that stuff while I use the daylight for getting my shit done.   And some of that is getting my mind in gear for KOLD MONTHS.   Been getting kayaky gear in line, but not my mental state.   Was looking at pics of paddling days when the trees were barren.   Those are coming on fast; I see the leaves turning a little more every day.   No hard frosts YET, but

Thinking its gonna be a hard winter, but short.   Chilly through the last of the year, but January is gonna crap on us. then start warming early near the end of Feb.  

Time will tell.

Don’t get me wrong,,, what happened in Appalachia (not far from my home in same) is damned horrid.   BUT, The locals are going to get their shit straight, same as they have since they came here, and they will do it with minimal FEDGOV interference.  The churches will pull rabbits out of hats, the people will (once again) find out who the good neighbors are, who the carpet-baggers are, and life will go on.

Here’s my current thought.    We are less than 30 days out from a major (s)election, where the incumbents are taking a shellacking, and those that ‘Wag the dog’ are having a harder and harder time keeping up the narrative.   The mainstream liars club are being pummeled by free-lance documentors like the gentleman in the first video.  WE need more of such.    (and I suspected there was less going on than the hype because of one single video that hit my feed: one of a group of kayakers playing in the flood waters of the Pigeon river. Crazy they were, but if things were as bad as hyped (dead bodies, etc),,, Well, Somehow, I don’t think those nutz would have been relaxed enough to play.   WWKayakers tend to ‘first responders’ mentallity, and serious as a heartattack when the need is there; flighty as butterflies when its not.)  But I digress.   I don’t think this was an attack perse: who knows if we have the means to accelerate a Hurricane as some theorists are saying.  Doesn’t matter as much at this time, what I DO SEE, is the “no crisis we can’t use” to distract from rock stoopid political shenanigans.

Few miles, very little speed, LOTS of wake,,,

And a feeling of joy that I have been sorely lacking of late.

I get out there, the thoughts of the world at large are just not so damned important anymore.  I feel the breeze/wind, I hear and smell and feel the water.   I feel the power of mama-nature under and around me.    She’s docile on days like the one pictured, and I know that she can be a truly murderous bitch from hell when she gets her ire up.

BUT SHE DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE.   If you are in her way, you WILL feel her wrath.

And when she is docile like the above, you feel that too.  Peace, a joyful ‘reboot’ I much needed.

No worries about the bills, no stress over client issues, no fretting about the current Shaministration and its malice/incompetence (choose whichever lets you sleep at night.  IMO, its both),,,   Just me, a boat, the water and sun, and knowledge, that IF I SO CHOSE, I could just not turn back and I would be just fine.  The world around me has the resources I need to survive, and I know where to look for them.

And yet, I always come back.

Even with as bad as it feels like things are going to get, I still return because HERE is where my lesson in this ‘reality’ is in motion.  I may be tired of it, same as you are, but ignoring it; you won’t learn what you came here for, whatever that is,,,

The most important days of your life: the day you were born, and the day you find out WHY.

I can’t correct the path this reality has been on: not single handedly.   This is so much bigger than one person.  Its bigger than a nation of peoples even.   THIS is going to have to go full spread, like a virus through a body.   Either the body repels the virus, or the virus kills the body, but there is no short cut to the end result.  

but I can take little jaunts to clear the head, and see things in better light, and maybe, see a solution to one of the myriad problems this time/space throws at us all.  Sometimes I do, often not feasible from the perspective of “ONE”.  Other times, I don’t see a solution, but I do see a different aspect that at least lessens the turmoil of the time.

Figure out where you find YOUR PEACE.  Where you can ‘Ground and Center’ easily.   Everyones is going to be a little different.  Some will find that from the pews of a church.  I find it from the cockpit of a kayak.    (hint: no matter where/what it is for you, it should not be by adding something INTO your body to achieve.  IE, the bottle is not the answer, nor other recreational forms,,,)

ps,, not ‘lock and load’,,, might be coming, but not there yet.

Gonna leave the Government out of this little thought-line,,, I wanna talk about prepping, and current events.

I was thinking,, if the Cumberland river were to break the 25′ mark here local, it would cover most of the access roads between Harlan and Barbourville KY,,, MOST ALL OF THEM.    We see 21 and 22′ most every February, and last week, it crested at 19′, which keeps it pretty tightly within it’s banks, with the occasional washout of lower roads along side it.  

If it were to see the sorts of rains that hit TN/NC/GA last week, in such a short time frame, the main roads, like 25E and 119 would be largely impassible,  Short stretchs exposed to the air, but larger parts.   And that doesn’t account the bridges.    I know a guy who could tell me more about that, and I am sure there are some smaller spans that wouldn’t hold, but there would still be sections taken down for the sheer fact “DEBRIS” being pushed by TONS of water at speed, are battering rams.  One too many oaks being propelled downstream could take out one support and the whole thing would cave like wet tissue.

How do you prepare for that sort of thing ?    I don’t want you to think long term, like ‘move to higher ground’ or such, I am thinking more, “weather man says this is that 1000 years storm, we’d better move the preps in the basement somewhere safe”. 

I ask this because I saw a vid of a debris wash coming down the side of a hill so damned fast, it covered 100yards in the space of 2 seconds,,,   The area was not in a creek bed or even along side it; it was a hillside coming down,   You can’t second guess that sort of thing, nor can you really predict it.   And if you can’t make that sort of prediction, HOW can you plan for it.    How can you prepare for it?    Keeping multiple locations of supplies?    The people that live in those areas are still suffering from Great Depression era issues.   In some cases (Hartford TN) the area RELIES on tourest activity to stay alive,,, No rafting companies, no jobs,   

And I haven’t been there to see, but have heard that this flood pretty much washed the Pigeon, FLAT,,, Not so much class3+ anymore.    Some of the highlight rapids are completely GONE!!!   

Think of it like this,,, (I don’t recall the name of the rapid, but it was a boil around a REALLY BIG FUCKIN’ ROCK,,,   Think mobile home size rock,,,,

It’s now downstream somewhere or washed to the bank and no longer disrupting water to make rapids.

If that river is flat, the rafting companies aren’t going to draw like they did, and that means things close shop and Hartford becomes another Appalachian Ghost town  (like it does every winter,,,,)

Then there are stories of entire Neighborhoods gone missing,,, where they stood is now a ravine,,,

In an area that is KNOWN POOR,,, HOW do they rebuild?  CAN they rebuild,,,,

Don’t write them off,,, These are Scots/Irish,,,  Stubborn, tight knit even if they are bloodthirsty and ruthless,  

and if some of the stories I am hearing have even a 10% margin of accuracy,,, THESE PEOPLE ARE GETTING VERY PISSED OFF.

I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that some FEMA admin-types were found tied to a railroad crosstie and found floating facedown in the FrenchBroad near Morristown TN.

And I think that would be the milder application of “hill justice” (a very real thing, Don’t doubt it.)

I’m not going to go on an on about it,,, Shit gets me too pissed off at an already F!d up situation.    

(ok, so I lied, heres the government rant side)   Here it is, one month (minus) to November (s)elections,,, and the OPTICS are pure shit for the incumbants,,, Even the dedicated press is having a hard time covering and providing cover for it, and the ones that I have seen are spreading flat lies, or “oh, Look! Squirell!!” distractions.  

That tells me that either they are cocksure of themselves (as I mentioned in another post) or THERE WILL BE NO NOVEMBER (S)ELECTON CYCLE,,,,    Something is in the works, I can feel it

And I am not alone,,,, LOTS of people are starting to say things, ask things, and the answers given are NOT good,,, (8 billion to the KrainianKlownKar, along with our stock of Transformers and such, as well as breaking FEMA’s budget on “Refugees” from other countries.  ) We take care of the world, but can’t take care of our own?   Not good optics by any perspective.

Just arrived home,,, chilling out, checked the battery voltage to make sure I am not overcharging batteries while await the arrival of my new Charge controller.  

While checking them, a drop of water splattered on me.

look up,,, The whole rooftree line is damp,,,   I don’t think its FROM the Rooftree,,, I think its from a leak on the porch roof and the leak I am seeing is from condensation where that moisture has traveled UP the roof,,,   See if my thinking is correct here: If it were a leak at the ridgeline, it would be leaking when it rains cats and dogs (as it was last  Friday) but here it is, three days dry(ish,,, not rain, but high fog levels in the AM) and now I have this WET on my ceiling.  (and I know it wasn’t there Muhnday when I was up there checking on my ceiling fan,,,)

Shits gotta get fixed,,, I can’t have my house leaking inside, destroying itself,,,

Guess I get to do my least favorite thing and climb a ladder.   I really do not want, nor can I readily afford, a new roof.   Figured sheetmetal roof, good for 20+ years, right,,, here the house is only 10,,,  grrrrr….

What boils my ass the most about the current shenanigans is how the face of this anti-American coalition is so blatantly HATEFUL of the very people he supposedly represents,,,,   Its obvious his view on such is NOT that of a representative, but a presumptive king or something..

SO,,, when this NOVEMBER rolls around, I am going to do exactly as TL states EVERY SWINGING DICK AND JANE  SHOULD DO.   Get out the vote, even though we know they are going to do everything in their power to nuetralize our voices, we have to use that last chance to yell: and in doing so, absolve ourselves of any guilt for what comes next.    This is the last chance to that box before things go to the last one.

Because, if this past 5 days is any indicator, what that CABAL has in store for us is gonna make the ghost of Hitler pale and fade.   Start looking for like minded peeps in your Local Gov and LEO services.   They are there, and probably feeling quite alone.    I will admit that this is an area I am sorely lacking in.    (I am also not ‘local’ and still get the hairy eyeball when I open my mouth, so there is that to contend with.  At least I have 12 years of building a reputation as “the goto guy”  for a lot of different reasons, and some that know me as such are in the local Gov, if only at the lower positions that actually do the work.)

WE ARE IT.  NO ONE is going to come save our sorry butts.  Putin is NOT going to be airdropping arms and ammo to the resistance, Israel won’t be doing any of that either; NO ONE IS.   WE ARE IT.

I’ve plenty of scar tissue to say ‘I showed up’,,, I have a feeling there will be more yet.   Don’t write off the slow ones either,,, some of them are tougher than nails and will keep on when all others have fallen to the side,,,
