Odd domestics day/That might be a problem.

Bloo is in peices right now,,,

Smelled a little ‘magic smoke’ when I got home last run and started digging around.

That might be a problem.  I could see where it had rubbed up against the frame of the column  and thats where you see that break in the wire.   It did get hot enough to melt all the insulation off that one. Bonded to a couple of others, but I’m not seeing burnthrough on those.

I did order the new part and will be here Thursday(?) but I think I can get this jerry-rigged enough to get by a few days.

And because Twuck is sitting there all sad and broken up, I decided that maybe running the gauntlet of fleas to turn the water back on wouldn’t be so hateful (it was, but water is back on)   plus Aunt T is changing that over to my name this week.   I did the paperwork (e-form) last night for the electric and that should be in my name by end of week.

I only hope the deed paperwork shows up soon, or all of this will become a major pain in my backside.

So, I’m still uphill from Da’s, doing the domestics, and trying to jerry rig another bandaid to get ‘a few more days’ of function out of Bloo.

And right now, I’m getting the permathrene loaded up to go spray that house.  Carried a few of those fleas back with me and THAT is not acceptable.   Gonna hit the underside hard, and the floor inside.   M

I’ve joked time and again, that I am basicly ‘homeless’.  Well, that is shifting a bit.   The Place I dwell has not had an address of its own because the county insists on at least one utility bill to recognize a ‘residence’.   I haven’t any utilities they list.   At least not ‘here’.  Unks place does.     Working on the work around, and having the deed in my name will give me some leverage.

But while talking with Middle Sis today, I realized that I have a REAL homeless encampment right next door.   5th wheel travel trailer that won’t ever roll on asphalt ever again, hillbillied front porch add on, tarps draped around and over.  and I have no idea of what sort of set-up they have for septic (though, I have caught whiff now and again, and I’m betting their black water tank is dumping straight into the woods.)

I’m not tryng to denigrate on them.  I’ve met homeless in similar situations, that were trying.   This pair isn’t even trying.  They just look for the path of least resistance and free-rides until the free-ride shoves them off.

I don’t get it.   I built my place up from nothing with nothing but the week to week pay and personal effort (and a bit of help from family while building) and my only issue is “rules” about what constitutes a residence.  My place is perfectly livable, LOOKS like a house, not a ramshackle tar paper shack, and even has some modern tech in it.

But they,,,,   sigh,,, not my problem, only they are my problem and I want them gone,,,

But thats neither here nor there right now,,, I has much on my plate that needs addressed, and maybe build the machine to force them to ‘Go’ or assimilate to reality.   (not gonna hold my breath on that last.  Too late for those old dogs to learn that trick.

Anygooberblabs, I need to finiish getting BLoo together and tested, and wrap up the laundry foozles (and I’ll wait to fold it till home. No wanna stand there with fleas climbing my legs or getting in my clean stuff.)(and I sometimes envy Eldest Sis, living at altitude in Colorado: No fleas or ticks to deal with)

More laters,, Love y’all.   LLLLL!!! (, ‘)

  1. That there burnt and severed wire in the column (as yer aware) sure coulda been a whole lot worser-er. Glad you caught it in time. I gonna think good, positive thunks about Twuck, I am!

Yepper, yer plate is definitely full to runnin over! Good thing you can take care of it yerself! That homeless encampment ya mentioned could easily be bad news fer sure. And yer correct about ’em – they ain’t even tryin! If’n they were, it *might* be possible to give ’em the benefit of the doubt. Don’t blame ya one bit fer wantin ’em gone – I would too.

Dam – I hatez me some dam fleas, I do! Had numerous run ins with the dam critters, and dam sure don’t wanna deal with ’em again – best of wishes to ya in gettin rid of ’em!

    L’s!

    Y’all take care,
    Mike in FLA.
