Welcome to my brain. It’s messy. It’s interesting. And it’s all connected if you stick around long enough. "Believe Nothing: no matter who said it, even if I have said it, except it agree with your own reason and common sense. Siddhartha Guatamo, the Buddha.

The illusion of ‘labels’

(follow along, this one goes all over the place_)

We’re human, with a ‘logic processor’ wired in our heads. Two spheres of brainium; left right. One tends to artistic creative and transient, the other logic reason, calculated, and oft-times ‘cold’,,, Its the one that actually keeps us alive more often than not IMO.

We actually have three brains upstairs in that cavity between our ears. One reptilian, one mammalian, and the squishy coral looking thingy that actually makes us human. There are sections inside that don’t actually communicate very well, like certain glands, but they DO have an input at times. Like the adrenal glands,,, they can have PROFOUND effects on the mammalian and reptilian aspects,,, hard enough that they can override the ‘human’ side. (that whole flight or fight thing)

Its been proven, that severing the link between right and left can cause all sorts of issues, so the two DO communicate. It was readily proven that the frontal lobes are where our emotions and emotional logic (bear with me) are harbored and that someone with issues of ‘overly emotional’ or even psychotic episodes that were emotionally driven, could be ‘cured’ (it wasn’t) with a Frontal Lobotomy,,,, Do some research on this and see how MEDIEVAL that certain ‘cure’ was,,, and how non-uniform the results were. Seriously fucked up shit right there, and was common practice in many institurions during the 50’s early 60’s (and later, but it was a dying trend.)

I believe it was Sid Vicious that said “I’d rather a bottle in front of me, than a frontal lobotomy.” funny, but ACCURATE as F!.

Well, its pre-Easter,,, and I have my bottle in front of me. too much crap in the world that wants tee-total attention and it ain’t healthy for American Boys and Girls to let that shit get too far under the skin. Avoidance is key: I spent most of today talkin’ to Da, and getting the engine ready to pull out fo Donor Truck. Its loose, but I was not able to pull the converter bolts so will need to pull it as one. I can look in and see the converter from the top so its comin’ out,,, but now I need a hoist. Workin’ on that. tryin’ to borrow as its an infrequent use item in my little world. And I’m making chicken casserole for dinnerbreakfastlunch. Might take half to Da’s for his dinner, but he is one PICKY eater,,, he may not like my cooking (usually doesn’t, but this isn’t hot like my chili,,,,,, Will see._) but I digress,,,

There’s a thread here, even if I’m not following it cleanly. hang in there, there is a point forthcoming,,,,

Think about it. We LABEL literally EVERYTHING,,, from our children (favorites, to ‘needs guidance’.) our ‘leaders’, naming our cars and trucks (guilty!!!) Its symbology at its finest. Our brains work with SYMBOLS, Words are symbols in their own right,,,

But what happens when we mis-label something?

It’s Not Apathy. We’re too quick to call it apathy. Someone stops caring, stops engaging, stops reacting—and the verdict is immediate: “They’ve quiet quit.”
But that’s not always true. Apathy is the easy label. It’s convenient.
It lets us move on without asking harder questions.

Because if it’s not apathy… then what is it?

Sometimes it’s exhaustion. Not the kind you fix with a good night’s sleep—but the kind that builds slowly. Layer by layer. Expectation by expectation. Until the system just… stops responding.

From the outside, it looks like indifference.
From the inside, it feels like overload. There’s a difference.

Apathy says: I don’t care.

Burnout says: I can’t keep caring like this.

And we confuse the two all the time.
We see someone go quiet and assume they’ve lost interest. But maybe they’ve just run out of fuel. We all run low, sometimes it more than we had,,, We see someone disengage and assume they’ve given up. Don’t do this,, maybe they’ve been carrying too much for too long.
Numbness isn’t always absence. Sometimes it’s protection. A system overwhelmed will shut things down—not out of laziness, but out of necessity.
Call it mental, emotional, even spiritual—whatever lens you want to use. The effect is the same: Less reaction. Less expression.
Less visible “care.”

And that makes people uncomfortable.
Because we’re used to visible signals—passion, anger, enthusiasm; Something we can measure.

Silence doesn’t fit that model.

So we label it; Apathy.

But labels can be wrong, and like much of the world, labels are ILLUSIONS

And when you misdiagnose the problem,
you miss the solution.
Because you don’t fix burnout by demanding more passion. You don’t fix overload by adding more weight. Sometimes the answer isn’t pushing harder. Sometimes it’s stepping back.

Resetting; Letting the system come back online.

So no—
it’s not always apathy.
Sometimes it’s something far more human than that.

(lane change, different track, but trust me, it’s related) I am NOT!!! a Christian. Get that through your little brainiums right now, ’cause its gonna take an act of GOD (the real GOD, not the “God” of Abraham or as the Gnostics put it; the DemiUrge, a beast of a dragon body with a lions head, that had no clue of its origin so considered itself the SOURCE (blasphemy!) A being with serious mental issues of paranoia, narcissism and low self esteem, creating the drunken father issues so well documented in the old testements. But I digress.

I am not a Christian.

Heres the kicker

Nor was Jesus,,,, do you think that the TEACHER would follow himself as a religion? Come on!,,, thats ludicrous,,, He was a JEW,,, He even stated as much,,,He debated the Pharisee, the heads of LITURGICAL ORDER of the time, the middleman between the JEW and ROME, (and oh, I could so go on about how we haven’t progressed ONE INCH since those times,, but here we are,,,,)

Jesus, Yeshuah, Issa,,, whatever name you wish to proscribe to him, if you even believe the was a real entity and not the Fiction of Paul the Apostle, (long rant there, but not the place here,,,,) (documents of Roman times,,, Heavy in tax records,,, Accurate as we can guess, but guess what,,, NO MENTION of JESUS,,,, but there are mentions of an Issa, and a Yeshuah,,, JESUS was a medieval invention for whatever reasons, but I don’t want to get anymore sidetracked here.)

Let me step back a moment: When asked about his beliefs, Einstein mentioned that he believed in the god of SPINOZA,,, do a Giggles search on that name and get ready for an introduction into comparitive religious studies,,,, Marcion is another and closely related though much older.

See, even in the scriptures, Jesus/Issa/Yesuah NEVER claims the Yahwah as HIS FATHER,,, he skirts the issues continually, merely mentioning that there are deceptions that lead men into false faith. “those with ears will hear my words, and the light will be with them” Parables,,, Not half truths, but hidden meanings with double endings, depending on your level of understanding.

I frequently mention “IS”, or Nudge, whom I consider my gaurdian angel or ‘disembodied soul mate, acting as a guide’. I mention SOURCE. I mention “UNIVERSE”,,,

ALL of this, slowly coming to light in modern science as “CONSCIOUSNESS”,,, and the one thing they can not PIN TO THE WALL is where conciousness begins,,, They are fast becoming aware that the brain, OUR BRAINS are not the “ME”, but an interface of it,,, and the “ME” does not reside in the physical, but the QUANTUM.

WE ARE THE QUANTUM COMPUTERS….

WE ARE MANIFESTATIONS OF “THE SOURCE”,,,, WE ARE THE CHRIST, IF WE CAN GET PAST ALL THE LIES AND ILLUSIONS, THE LABELS,,,. ITS TIME FOR A RESET TO CURE OUR APATHY, ONE THE LEADERS PRETEND STEER US AWAY FROM,,,,

Happy Easter All,,,, ‘He’ is risen,,, right in your soul if you let it happen.

Having been brought up and raised within a family , of the Mormon faith. You’d think that I’d consider myself a Christian., seeing how that faith is all about Jesus.

Ÿet curiosity cured me of that persuasion. Reading widely and traveling with an open mind with only a goal of finding answers. Knowing full well that truths are rare and all men lie for personal gain. This being absolute.

The way is a good guide to follow. However few do.

I do know that my line of ” All men lie” was enuff to get the Jehova witnesses to stop coming when I stated that his Bible was absolutely proof that all men lie for profit or power.

ya just gotta pick and choose your version of truths. Most take the easy route and let someone else think the heavy thoughts…

    • APologies Spud… I have tried to reply to this twice now and WP has eaten my responses.
Quick reply ” “all men lie” is about as concrete as the foundations under the Pyramids, and should be a steering guide for most dealings.

  3. “Most take the easy route and let someone else think the heavy thoughts” This!
To Fred: indeed, that was the charge, and one of many. Paul was a skilled debater and his efforts spurred the growth of a religion based on a man that DID NOT want to be deified. I’ve covered this to some extent in other writings here and elsewhere, so no need to expand on it in a comment.
Too many choose the easy route then wonder why things are difficult. I say it and say it to Burnout and the other Emps: Hard choices, easy life. Easy choices, hard life. or ‘Ya gotta do the work! No one is gonna do it FOR you.’
