Seriously, after 18 years, you start feeling like you are scraping the bottom of the rotton apple barrel for content.  All the good stuff is long gone, and whats left, “I’ve covered that in 18 different dialects and education reading levels; if they ain’t got it yet, only option is Clue Bat!”

Yeah,,,, Hell, I’ve had running dialogues with myself to flesh out content and just about the time I pull the keyboard close,,, BTDT  Has Tshirt,,,,

Such was the case today,,, three times, different angles, same old shit,    SAME     OLD SHIT,,,,, I get sick of saying, and I am sure y’all get sick of reading it

TODAY marks the 250th anniversery of “The Shot Heard Round the World”

May be a small chance we are in the midst of another ‘revolution’ but this one, so far, remains docile, not kinetic (at least not obviously so.  There may be some skeletons mouldering away in dark corners we aren’t aware of.)   Much like that time, Not everybody is on board with the doings and goings,,, Y’might even say its a three-way split, with a handful on the extreme ends of each side wanting things to escalate to kinetic.    I understand all three divides and even the extreme fringe, but

SAME OLD SHIT

We never learn a damned thing.  Individually YES, species wide: Humphf!!!     Dumber than a box of rocks when it comes to such.   

Here we are, either in the middle, at the ground floor or on the dusk, of the greatest “recorded” time of Humanity, where even our poor have enough to eat (usually more than enough if you look at the numbers of Obesity issues out there.)  Homeless (one of the lefts favorite rally cries for ‘mo-monies!!’) are typically there by choice in some way shape or form.   Some are even HAPPY AS DUCKLINGS IN A MUD PUDDLE ABOUT IT.    And I can understand that, too.   No bills past what they need day to day, week to week, Free-time to the point of BOREDOM,,,,   And no anchors to hold them down.   (There are those that are just waste cases, junkies or flat insane,,,  Thats what happens when you shut down EVERY psychological outlet except therapy/drugs.)  Seriously,   go through one of the Big Chain Grocery stores,,, look at the selections of WHAT we have choice of:  King Louis XIV didn’t have as many choices as the common man of today.  We have Gourmet Coffee shops with Frellin’ Drivethrus fer F!s Sake!!!

Most people think of poverty as a problem the government needs to fix.

But that’s not quite the right way to look at it.

Poverty isn’t some mysterious condition we fall into when systems fail—it’s the original state. It’s the default; the starting point, and it certainly isn’t something the government can solve.

We have a poverty level here in the US, that I actually live BELOW,,,,    Its something on the order of 100K/yr and I am well below that level: granted, I also live in a state where a small percentage of people live above that level, and the cost of living here is marginal to other areas not that far away (like Knoxville TN,,, double the cost)  

And I live quite comfortably,,, Yeah, I live paycheck to paycheck (who doesn’t in this whacked out economy?) kinda-sorta-sumpin’like,,,, I do have savings, but its more a cushion for bad times, than ‘investment’, (and if you are investing by saving in your bank or your mattress, you are LOSING, and badly so.)  BUT, I have my comforts, I know where my next meal is coming from, and have stores put away for ‘whatever may come’,   My only complaint is that I am not free,,,,  I know I am not free.  If I were free, I could run with these crazy ideas of kayaking to the Gulf of America via inland waterways.  (and I could put in below the Cumberland falls, and with only a few portages, could go all the way to ‘NawLins’, or ‘Mobeel’, or hang a right just outside Paducah and head to Mizzorah, Chicongo, or the Great Lakes.  (hanging a hard right out of Paducah,,, Not likely,, current is STRONG after LooVulle: very hard upstream for self powered craft.)

Nope,,, not free, know it, and I choose to remain enslaved to the system because, well, reason,,,,,  I think.    More like Don’t wanna get out of my comfort zone is likely closer to the truth.   I like my little house, and warm bed, my truck, my tools that I have spent much time and money acquiring (that assist in making MORE money,,,,)    No, Not free,,, Choosing to chase that ‘almighty dollar’ chains us down pretty tight.

And the phones not being attached to the walls are now our chains.    Just owning a phone opens you up to direct marketing programs designed to help part you and those ‘dollars’: and they are very good at it,,,,   Just look at all those chainstores selling everything from gee-gaws to $14 coffees,,,,

We toss the money to feel better about our slavery,,,,

Somehow, we lost sight of the GOOD,,,,

I know one or two readers here are going to take this as a coming to God moment,,, Hold your breath,,, Its not,,, My thoughts on God are my own and aren’t likely to give you warm and fuzzy thoughts.   I do think we lost sight of our foundations when we left the earthier things behind, and we have been sold a bill of goods as a good thing, that is meant ONLY to empower a few,,,,   And yes, I do believe that there is evidence of that, even in the Bible itself.   

And the Tech is outpacing our evolutionary abilities.    Its growing faster than the species can accomadate.  Only individuals and small groups are able to fully comprehend what some of this stuff does.   I would bet the rocket Scientist’s building Elon’s SpaceX aren’t fully savvy on what comprises AI, and the AI techs look in awe as Booster 8 gets a Starship into low orbit then returns and LANDS itself to be reused quickly.

And the Lawyers couldn’t give a shit less,,,  Unless someone gets hurt,,,, or thinks they got hurt,,,, Or wants to play victim and make others pay for imagined hurts,,,,

We aren’t free,,,,    We never have been.

The lawyers and bankers run this planet and we are just pawns on the board.   So long as we comply, the game ‘rewards us’,,, And yet, I think it IS possible to exit the game and NOT commit social suicide (completely, that is,,, Don’t wanna be Robinson Crusoe,,,,,)

See?????   Same old Shit!!!!    I have covered EVERY SINGLE ASPECT OF THE ABOVE in so many different ways and writing dialects; I read it, and start to worry that I am plagerizing myself.
