some days the bear gets you

But not today Say Dio,,,

Lawyers visit went well: got a price tag for all of this and they are sending the paperwork off to Floriduh ASAP (this evening or first thing AM)

Off the J.O.B. and at Da’s, word from Aunt T is to get the router and wifi out so she can return them.   So I head up to do that.

Back door standing WIDE open.   I was not aware that it had a locking issue, but apparently certain vultures were well aware of it.    Seems they took the day with my being at work to do laundry.

Back door is locked and I am heading over there, after I hit publish, with a screw gun, peice of plate and some lag bolts.   Proper permenant fix will happen this weekend when I am over there clearing out the Fridge, and SHUTTING DOWN THE ELECTRIC.  Aunt T said that she is waiting on the monthly bill to shut it down at the pole, but I can and WILL kill the mains, and shut the water off under the building in the meantime.   (drain waterheater and lines for winter.  It may be that long or longer before I decide ‘rent, or ???’)   (FYI, the title to the trailer is already in my name now, its the deed to the property that is in question.)

I’m a firm believer in “Hand ups, not hand OUTS.”    I have no problem helping someone down in their luck.  The past few years with Burnout should show that.  I REFUSE to be the penny bank for dead beats.   And Cuz,,,  DEAD BEAT.

I’m gonna cut this screed short so I can go take care of securing the place tight.   Y’all take care, stay curious   Love y’all.

  1. Something I do is use different screw heads. A couple T25 or 30, a couple square drive and some T20s. Mix and match. If they want in they’ll get in but if you make them work for it they might leave. Deadbeats and thieves hate work. You don’t have to be ironclad, just harder than the neighbor’s place.
