I find it irritating somedays
when I awaken to reinforcement of my pessimistic views.
I said this yesterday eve: “that we have hit the lowest of the lowest spots in TRUST of our institutions, leadership, governance, hell, even our medico’s in many instances“
Then, this AM, I am trawling through other sites and hit this from Francis.
his closing statement says it best,,,“The set-up for massive vote fraud is in progress. Remember that you read it here first.“
————————————————————
It’s Friday,,, discussed with Son of Bossman about returning to Freeday Fridays while we are in our doldrums. The response was a positive, though waffled one, and I haven’t decided how I want to handle it. I could do the Freeday route, or carry it over to Muhndaze instead, but the both of us know that Muhndaze tend to be “put out the fires from the weekend” days where I am essential. The other side of not going in on Fridays would mean that I need to find some other way of getting reimbursed for my fuel usage by Burnout,,, who isn’t exactly the most reliable bill-payer to begin with. Yes, I am still carting his carcass to and, sometimes from, work. (our hours don’t always line up for getting him home) And found if I don’t take him to the bank to cash his check, I don’t get gas money,,, (and another week of that may get his rear-end cut out of the loop,,, at $3+/gallon,,, shit ain’t cheap y’know,,,)
at this point in the whirlwinds of destiny we are all subject to (do you feel like you have any control of where of all this is headed?) its sort of a moot point about $10/wk for gas, but that adds up over weeks,,, and IS money out of my pocket so far.
but you don’t wanna hear about my little issues,,,, I mean, they are quite trivial in the grand scheme, and easily dealt with in comparison as well. Just have to drive a nail in a laggards foot, right?
I am a bit concerned about the J.O.B. thing though,,, some little things I have picked up tell me this doldrum is unusual, and that may be a sign of the times, but it has given me a twinge of ‘dread’,,, Not that I can’t find work, there is alway work for a guy with skills and tools: it just may not be what you want, when you want.
and it could be that sign telling me to cut the bow-lines and go independent,,,
Dunno.
Its getting on that time to move my arse in the direction of ‘going to work’ and not sit here airing my mind out. Y’all take care today, keep on eye on the horizons, and
KEEP ON LIVIN’

A very good poast (and ending line) from Sir Francis. I tend to vary between optimistic and pessimistic meself. And with all the horseshit going on today, it ain’t always ezy to be an optimist, either.
I gotta say that my hat’s off to you for still putting up with Burnout! I’ve had similar situations, meself. Ain’t ezy to do, either.
I’ve come to the conclusion that, in the grand scheme, our individual ‘thangs’ may indeed be small potatoes, but on a personal level they’re right at the top of the heap. Gets kinda hard to juggle em sometimes, too.
As to yer previous poast, you ain’t cray cray at all, just an independent thinker👍🥂 Keep on keepin on!
Y’all take care & stay livin,
Mike in FLA.

Yes indeed, things are lookin’ a little more shaky every day… Out here in grimy CA, my rent just went up again, I found out no rai$e this year – it’s supposed to be annual 2-5% but /reasons/, my annual bonus for ’23 (which doesn’t get paid til the end of Q1’24, was about 25% less than last year. AND I just paid $5.49/gallon for gas yesterday. Yeah, good times!
Don’t get me started on “the news”, I’m getting whiplash from going from one disaster to the next at lightning speed!
I’m generally an optimist, but my optimism is currently out-of-order.
