at least this ‘time change’ is the easy one,,, not the total shift into reverse at high speed the spring switch is.

what makess it suck TO ME, is how little daylight remains once I am done renting out my day to others,,,, Being off grid, I don’t do much after it gets dark, because thats a serious drain on batteries: my sole source of power when the sun is gone,,, (well, wind power, but that really is only supplemental.) So lights, ok, they don’t draw much, but other things, like computers, those suck power down FAST, even lappy, on an internal battery needs recharged, and thats when the SUUUCCKKKKKKK begins.

part of why I do more in the mornings,,,, I go to bed early, so am up way early (by a lying clock face) and I can power up the inverter when I leave to charge things up. Still draws on the batteries, but ran on a 6 hour timer I get some of that back.

except when the daylight is like 9 hours long,,,, the first two or three are weak, and the last 2 are weak as well, that leaves four hours of peak,,,, Oh, and this time of year has fewer cloudless days,,,,,sucks,,,, but what can you do? (MORE PANELS< MORE BATTERY BANK,,,)

or move your ass to somewhere where this shit WORKS,,,, LOL

that ain’t gonna happen, at least for awhile,,, and if the world keeps its current trend, mahbe never,,,,

but I am not grumpin’ about the ‘tricity,,, I made this system, I have lived with it for 8 years now (growing in little spurts, but growing) and am intune with its quarks.

And they swap the clocks around and toss grenades into tents, wrenches into gearboxes, and,,,,,,
