So, Seems Dude from work, that was supposed to go kayaking two weekends back, and again this past weekend that I canceled due to BugWars,,, Seems he is the ‘zero patient’ for the buggies ripping through the workforce currently. EVERYONE is walking around this week, sounding like they tried to expel their larnyx, or still snuffling and sneezing. and all of us that worked with dude, directly, last week, were down for the weekend with the others picking it up along the way. Someone is due a serious dunking when we finally make it to water,,, I haven’t told him WHICH boat he will be using, so I may just stick his narrow butt in Duh!kee and let her take care of him for me. She can be the vindictive one, I know.
But, I am not (well, yes, yes I am, but not over such trifling matters as this. Not like he knew he was sick, this bug comes in FAST, like just a few hours from the first sniffle to OMG, my nose won’t stop!!!!). I’ll be good and not mistreat a potential paddling partner, BUT, I am starting to have some reservations about the depth of his character,,, Starting to strike me as quite shallow.
Maybe I should follow some old advice eh? you can only judge the distance by the company that you keep. No idea what that might be with dude,,,
