No goin’ back

Big Country captures a lot of whats going on in my head with this one post.

They can’t win, that much is certain, but they are sure as hell gonna make things downright craptastic as they ‘try’.

And so far, they are succeeding at that game plan.

1: they have zero clue gow to build ANYTHING

2: they have this script they are using that was never written with reality in hand.

3: we aren’t ‘widgets’ or robots. Which is what they need to make their script work.

Here locally, and by local I mean within 200 mile circumference, every other yard has a garden planted. Places a year ago with large empty pasture are now sporting a bovinity or two. And I am seeing sheep and goats in some others. Chickens seemingly run amok, even in one suburb 20 miles away. Had to stop and let a hen and her brood cross the road, in a burb I thought was NaziHOA territory .

And property values? Been offered 100k+ for my little ‘stead. Don’t think I’ll bite, since its obvious that Cuz2 isnt serious about being a permanent res on my hill. (And his history will catch up to him sooner than later) I couldn’t replicate what I have for 100k, not in these markets, so I sit

Simple answer: we arent hungry enough. That time is coming. Just make sure that you remember WHO made you hungry, before you go popping an innocent.

Ain’t no going back, but what comes is TOTALLY in our control, so long as we don’t lose our frigging minds. (And my doubts on that keep me silent.)
