The Kitteh Files day 14

Started off usual routine for the eve. Feed four feets, Grizz2 and Zoomz do the zoomie zoomie about the house and porch, MamaKat aka Grumpykat does her ‘I’m above this’ pose and voices displeasure at the upstart invaders of her realm. Hissssss. Grrrrrrr etc. Never violent, but the usual kat-kursing thing.

Twilight arrives.

Grizz2 decides porch looks inviting and heads to open door. He even makes it about 2 feet out onto the porch before I’m upnoutta the chair to capture him. Whhoooosssshhhh!!! As Mamakat zips by me, pounces him and does the mamakat snag on the neck and drags him back in the house. Grizz did the whole kitten thing and went paralyzed with body curl. Back inside she gives him a VERY thorough bath like only a mama can and looked VERY pleased with herself. Zooms had watched the while routine, tried slipping past her and she snagged him; he then received his bath. He wasn’t as docile as Grizz was, since he has been the most forward with her and until this eve, she has been total witch bitch to him. She held him down, giving him the bath and he kept swatting at her; she just ignored it like any mom giving a brat boy-child a bath will.

Its now 10:30, the boys are sequestered in bed and Mamakat is laying between the bed and the door. There will NOT be any sneaking out tonight she is saying. Lol. Grizz tried a few minutes ago and was promptly bit in the neck and carried back. He’s looking a bit put off by it, but hey, MamaKat is BACK and badder then ever.
