Welcome to my brain. It’s messy. It’s interesting. And it’s all connected if you stick around long enough. "Believe Nothing: no matter who said it, even if I have said it, except it agree with your own reason and common sense. Siddhartha Guatamo, the Buddha.

Whoa! Impressed!!!!

Deck view of the weir upriver from my out in

The publicity shot! (I’m still wearing my PFD here so no Karens trying to give me unwanted and unneeded advice)

She wont win any sprints, but she’s no slouch either. Easy, very easy 3.5 all day. Put a little power in and you’ll do 4. Pour it on and she can do 5. Far better than I expected for a folding boat. (That 6.3 mph was with the current on my stern going through a narrow section)

That seat! OMG! Between that seat, the sponsons stabilizing things, and a frame that can flex like you wouldn’t believe; this boat is the Cadillac in my little fleet.

And the last deck view before the storm started rolling upriver my way.

Had some hesitation buying this boat, but happy that I did now. This is one I would have no issues putting my dad into (after heavy sedation to keep him from fighting me of course.) Stability like a broad flat bottomed boat, speed closer to a narrower boat, and comfort for an all day paddle. He could fish from this one and I wouldnt worry about a Bluegill capsizing him.

She’s a keeper!

Addendum: even at 50#, this one is still 20# lighter than the Perception Carolina. But 20# heavier than the ones I made.

Nice looking rig. Dad needs to get out there for sure.

    • LOL. Just saw him and told him he could play in this one. Vigorous shaking of head: Nope! Nope! Nope!
He has said he will consider a canoe, but not a kayak. As if they are more stable😏

    • And I am taking it down now. Wanna clean it out, get familiar with its assembly, and clean up the sticky parts from years of being together. Some of these stringers do not want to come apart.
