Anudder full day in, still more to go obviously. No siding on the porch side yet and still need it in the peak area. Will be adding some frame and barrier up there early in AM
Howdy,
Is this a cabin for just vacations or is this a residence? If it’s a residence; I would get some vents in the eaves to vent out the attic space.

It’s called a garden and I intend to use it as a starter box for the out of doors type. Picked it up in a deal with the front door; $50 ea and the door came with a full set of new in the box hardware (figured I saved over $200 on the door alone). I have a feeling that if I ever end up with a cat, the garden will be commandeered by it. LOL
At some point I would wrap that porch right around to the front porch. (Don’t you love the monday morning quarterbacks?!??!)
If you were closer I would set up my lawn chair in the front and shout directions.

Pass. Had one of them here when doing the roof. Short story, when he found out how heavy hardie panel is, and how I refuse to let dead weight lay, he made excuses ’bout a bad back. Lol
Fiber cement. The T1-11 you mention is pricier, has a weaker warranty and is notorious in these parts for de-laminating. (Humidity wise, this neck of the woods is a fishbowl). Good stuff but heavy, and precautions are needed when using power tools to cut it.
