ROFL,,, Like it hasn’t been for 20 frellin’ years.

Good thing I let this shit fester, despite y’all’s growing discontent with me. Working through the recovered final draft, I realized I had nearly wrote the entire sequel already,,, or at least gave myself one hell of an outline for it. I don’t usually do outlines; writing from the hip and cleaning up the mess afterwards is my usual MO.

But I can run with an outline and still lay heavy fire from the hip while running for cover and concealment. Maybe even toss a few grenades along the way. (those’ll get cleaned up in final draft, maybe. They could be damned good grenades too.)

No spoilers. Not gonna give ya hint this time around,

Or I might,,, Maybe drop a chapter here or there as teasers/feelers,,,,

Dunno,,, this territory feels familiar to me, and I HAVE been here before. Its funny, I will work 10-20 hours just to properly place a 200 word edit, but I can hammer out 10000 words in an hour. It’s all the cleanup and edit and puncuation, and typo fixing, and “oh, wait, we aren’t at that point yet, cut this, place it in its proper slot” , stuff. Rest assured, I am working on that “dropped ya off a cliff” ending and making it more of the true cliffhanger, while also making it so that it can be ‘thats a wrap’. Yes, it is possible. Didn’t say it was easy though.

Who said writers don’t work? HA! Brainsweat is almost as thick as outdoorlabor sweat.

I can tell ya this though: one of those Author versions I ordered is getting marked up as I use the section that outlines the sequel for notes.

And I am doing this, while holding down (in reality, its part-time) a J.O.B. and trying to kick off a small personal business, and maintain a solo household with four furry and obnoxiously cute dependents. Oh, and Chase after an Elderly Da that likes tossing me his own form of Grenades. (like today, but I ain’t goin’ there right now,,,, Thats a tomorrow thing.)

seriously though,,, I will try to keep at the blog thing along with the rest of the stuff I do on the daily. But I am writing again. upgrading the Mac helped loads for that. I hadn’t realized how glitchy she had became till the glitches were gone.

And I’m offline for a few days. Ran out of Hotspot Bandwidth with the upgrade. That’s alright: I don’t need online to write, and if I need research, the data stream of the phone is enough.

but scatter brained and not parsing reality wlell right now, head in the looking glass and dealing with sleepy headed and very ignored characters from 6 years gone.
