1. I admit that threw me. I am so used to drivers being the RF amps before the Final amp. to the antenna.

2. Apologies, in the entertainment side of things, a speaker/voicecoil/driver are all pert much the same thing, even if they are parts n peices of other things.

   1. I recall reading of a three-coil speaker setup from waaaayback. No permanent magnet, so a coil for electromagnet. And another as voice coil. And a third either wound “backwards” or connected inverse phase with a pot to limit and adjust things… this was to try to cancel the low-freq. noise that escaped from the supply. “Hum-bucking” coil.
