We see all this shit they are telling us is going on, but around us, nothing. She has been in 7 states over the last three weeks and
crikkets,,,,
no protests
no sideeyes at the stranger in their midst
business as usual is what she picked up on,,, not all that shit being spewed.
Is there something going on Gaza/Israel? I’m pretty certain there is, but I also think that there are certain factions in various places doing everything they can to egg it on and stew it into something MUCH MUCH bigger than it should be (which is really just two bullies having a turf war. Might wanna look at the size of the places in question,,, and yet they are ‘instrumental’ in world affairs right now,,,, Por Que? The ENTIRE area is about the size of the greater LA basin,,,,
I digress,,,,
Just something ain’t passing the smell test and I would like to understand WHY,,,
and there is a whole lot of “Fuggem!” going around lately. Not that people have no interest in things, but they are becoming immune to the Hyperbole of the Propaganda Arms. Trump/Biden could drop trousers in public, have it broadcast nationally, and most people here’bouts would say “Fake news!”, FAST. People are so burned out on the ‘latest travesty’ they don’t give a damn anymore. There are more important things to deal with, like the kids football tournament, or just living a life before some raghead starts Jihad at the mall, or Biden thinks that big red button means ‘more icecream’ not “Glass ashtray the world”
and I noted that there are more and more advertisements on Pandora for ‘streaming services’ with huge discounts. That tells me people are cutting those services back, and probably NOT because of cost. More likely from BURN OUT. Lord knows I am burnt out on it and I only get subjected to it while at Da’s (along with what I am willing to READ,,,, I sure don’t watch that shit willingly. I don’t have cable OR a TV here, and no intention of changing that status anytime soon.)
They are losing control of the narrative, maybe even have already LOST that control, and like our Government losing the little credibility it had, is lashing out in convulsive ways,,,,
And the only thing BOTH have as a tool is FEAR
and it doesn’t seem like FEAR is working much these days,,,,
Both forgot the one measure that always works, even if people don’t like it.
TRUTH
Gonna be a long hard slog to regain that one from this point, no? Distrust is at alltime highs, and even when they somehow slip some truth in, people are looking for the lie, reason, scheme behind it.
We Are Winning this war,,,, they may have already lost it, just not surrendered yet. But we have a long and difficult clean up ahead of us yet. And they still have thier hands on those levers of power and can do some serious damage yet.
it’s getting into November, which even though I am not near the great lakes, we do get a lot of our weather out of that area. Tonight the temps are dropping below freezing, and that means the next good rain we get will wipe out whatever leaves are still in the trees. Grey zone until March/April,,,, My psyche will try its damnedest to emulate that, against my will, and there may be more depressing posts coming. If you catch one, reach through comments section and give me a good hard smack upside the cranium, K?
Kayaking will get me through, either paddling them, building them, repairing them, something, but thats my ‘anchor’ to sanity of late. So expect those posts as well (Thanx Capt Obvious,,, we kinda saw that’un comin’. )
Hopefully there won’t be any breif sunrises at night in our future, but one can never rule it out either.

Yer astute observations – RE: Fuggem – ring pretty true around these parts, too. Folk are pretty much burned out with all that sheeeiiitt.
RE: The idiot box – mine stays on INSP so’s I can watch the westerns I (supposedly) grew up(?) with. As far as Truth & Trust go, same, same. And yes, it does appear that ‘The Narrative’ is losing ground. However, TPTB are like a wounded animal in that they can still lash out, and likely will. We will, indeed, have a long row to hoe for a clean up. Still cautiously optimistic, though.

War is always rooted in money, resources, or religion wanting control.

That close to something that big, you won’t feel a thing. I have my doubts that things will progress that far unless some truly desperate types get the ‘If we can’t have it, NO ONE CAN” stage in mind. We may get there yet, and yes, this is definitely showing signs of ‘war for resources’
And that may be why they feel the need to eliminate a large portion of society, less people to spread it around to. BUT, it won’t work: too many moving parts that have brains of thier own and little to no desire to ‘just roll over and die dammit’. ‘They’ always forget that llittle part,,,,,
