Best kat story I’ve heard in awhile,,,,
Damn,,,, I can’t top this one. BCE steps off the Doompron wagon for a minute and lands a 2oo yard grand slam right down center field. Fuu,,,me!!! Had me belly rollin’.
BTW Big Country, my dig on the doooooommmmers, was not at you,,,, if you didn’t get the references, it was aimed at your favorite punching bag in comments.
As for Kats,,,, Can’t say any of mine are serial killers,,,, Mama doesn’t ‘get’ the kill strikes. She has blinded a squirell once, trying for that neck bite kill, slipped and took out his eye. I had to but the poor beast down as his depth perception was shot to hell and he couldn’t navigate the trees with his Forest Clown brethern anymore. Grizzy is hell on barn wrens, but doesn’t try to kill them, just brings them in the house and releases them so they can’t get away and keeps at them till their hearts give out.
Zoom? Mouser, natural born mouser (Kat, Duh!) and when he does his thing, its usually in batch lots, and I have 6 to a dozen deaders gracing my office chair when I get home. But not serial killer kat like the Pudster as described by BCE.
And talking about the Maine Coons,,,, Always been a desire of mine to find a litter of wildcats (Ky wildcat) and adopt one early in its life. As elusive as the wildcats and bobcats are about this area,,,, prolly never happen and definitely NOT while have domestic kittehs,,,,

a dream, and probably all it ever will be. These kats are SUPER secretive and may be living right next door to you and never let you know. I know of ONE in the area, but some local trail camera peeps tell me the number is closer to 20. NEVER SEE THEM unless they feel REALLY COMFORTABLE with the situation. The only way I know of the one is not by sight, but by tracks. He comes around when MamaKat is acting like she is in heat, but mamakat couldn’t handle a kat that size even is she wanted to.
Nada much to talk about on this end, maybe tomorrow will provide something of interest,,, today was rather boring actually so,,,,,,,

Appreciate it man… Yeah, Ole Pud was something else… I also looked up how much and a GOOD breeder? Like 2k PLUS!!!! Holy Cats! Glad you dug it and yeah, I knew of what you spoke… just needed a story to change the mindset ya dig? Hope all is well. C’mon down!

We’ve only got one cat. She is hell on the big assed rats here abouts.
Ignores the chickens ( actually she is terrified of those mini dinosaurs)
You’d think she’d go after all the squirrels I keep fat and happy with cracked corn feeders. But she’s only been known to get a couple of them. Almost every week though we find a half rat deposited on the back patio . Eats the front half and leaves the hind quarters . Which I throw into the chickens . Maybe that’s why PITA the cat doesn’t mess with the chickens . She watches close when I throw half a rat into the coop tho. Them damn birds tear a rat up in nothing flat !
