The truth will do just fine

The Boring Old Man brought up something in comments on my earlier post.

TRIUMPH.

Hella band, another of those understated bands from the 80’s.  

but the title of this post is from a line in one of their songs.

“I don’t ask for much, The truth will do just fine! Won’t you lay it on the line”

And we DON’T ask for much, and we sure as shit don’t get it do we.   

Alright, enuff of my soapboxing 

Now for some fun stuff.   I found this dude by accident a year or so ago, and I LOVE watching his reactions to the music I grew up with.

   And to think, the three-man band delivering tunes as POWERFUL as that one,,,,    There are still good bands out there, but I think ROCK hits its peak between the late 70’s through the 80’s and petered out around 95.   Still good bands coming up, but most of what I hear these days,,,    

They could ruin a good wet dream is all I gotta say,,,

sucks getting old,,,,,   But thanks to the digital age, we can ‘go back in time’ at whim and recall those head banging days listening to great tunes at WAY TOO HIGH of volume.    (and still do, I can rattle the paint off my house with my little system.)

    I was going through schools up in the Boston area in the early seventies when Aerosmith had their big hit with Dream On. During that same time frame there was a band called ITMB ( incredible two man band) very good stuff.
    Schools were excellent , the weather really sucked in Massachusetts
