On todays goal

Held that gun to me head today and went in to the J.O.B. Had one main goal in mind; retrieve my personal gear from shop, and everything else was wide open.

First order was my sound system. Not a humongous thing but is a 600watt system, a massive (for its size) 12″ subwoofer of 400watt and two satellites each 100 watt. Built in amp with a sweepable x-over and separate gain for the sub. Been a partner of mine since 2004 and still rocks the paint of the window sills.

Bossman and Son were suddenly such sweetness and light,,,,

Even the elder crew leader asked me what gave them a change of heart,,,

That right there tells me more about the situation than ANYTHING they could have ever said in words.

But it changes nothing about my resolve. Twisting the knife for gain only aggravates my dislike of the job. I find no satisfaction is utilizing bribes or blackmail for personal gain, and my conscious would nibble away at my self-esteem until I were even more bitter and hateful.

I’ll ‘maintain’ for now, but the search is on. When the time comes, I’ll be that spirit Kat, and just walk away,,,,

((Update: my little system TOTALLY rawks my little house with its hardwood floors. Kittehs are not happy, but this old sound dood is. Gonna really jam out while on the erg tonight.))

    Good to have decent tunes to work out to! 1st goal – success. Also good to see Bossman react like that. Possible that he *might* wonder who’s to blame, and come up with the correct answer? Nah – those types never do, they just put the blame anywhere but where it belongs.

    As to yer idea of a marina being the next step – why the hell not? Having been in industrial construction for ~40 years, I can easily see the reasoning. But that was the great thing about what I did – when *not if* I got tired of what, where, or who, I just went somewhere else. If they gave me shizz about leaving, I just said ‘mail the dam check’ – although not usually in that nice of a way!😉

    IMHO, yer idea of goals is a great start to improving yer mental altitude, then, hopefully, all that clutter betwixt yer ears starts to de-clutter. It helped for me, more than once. Here’s to yer new start!!👍
