Long day after a crap-tastic weekend of getting nuthin’ accomplished because of a war with a bug,,, Still feeling the burn of scorched earth policy by my internal allies. And still feeling more than a bit burnt up, energy-wise. I’m draggin’ ass,,,
But, Get home, start opening pages, reading articles and
Get maybe two paragraphs in and say, “F*ck this,,,”, My apathy of what the shills are trying to do to the world is at all time low currently.
Its OBVIOUS the asshats in charge of shit were never properly disciplined as rug-rats. Its also obvious NONE OF THEM have ever been punched in the face, with intent to knock them out; not just some staged punch for headlines.
and I KNOW I have zero way of ‘making up for their lack’,,, I just hit the DO NOT CARE level. Let them burn it down, I can’t stop them. Let them start rounding up peeps, THAT, I may have some say in, but it depends on a lot of factors, and communication between people of like mind: Something that I drummed on for years at the start of this blog and was blown off time and again. (P2P PGP, etc. Even the radio thing was blown off by most,,,)
DON’T CARE.
Why? Because I have seen it time and again, and seen again recently with a guy at work, that people only want the silver bullet, they don’t want the work to make it. And in this day and age, when you can buy literally anything your heart desires and have it drop shipped to your door, WHY STRUGGLE TO BUILD WHEN YOU CAN JUST PURCHASE IT.
Because there is coming a time where that BUILD is not going to be an option, but a demand, and I don’t see a whole lot of people with the wherewithal to do it. +
And yah, maybe this apathy is being generated by fatigue and recovery from BugWars,,,, BUT, I have suspicions I am not the only one with the broken Giveadamn. In fact, I can recall conversations around PatCom fires and the biggest beef was that people wanted to be given all the answers to the upcoming troubles and not have to work for the skills or resources. And when you showed them solutions to potential everyday issues, like power outages, “aww-man, That looks like work,,,,”

Ya think that wheat that went into your daily bread just grew itself, harvested itself, and ground itself to then mix itself with all the other stuff that makes bread? Seriously? You really need to read about the guy that built a toaster, mostly from scratch, down to working the metal and trying to alloy the wires for the heating elements. Took him a long while and he still had to get outside resources to finish the project. Or I, Pencil
So few understand just what goes into the things they take for granted. I certainly had zero clue about all the complexities of not just writing, but PUBLISHING, and I cheated!!!! (kinda sorta, I didn’t go the Trad route, I went straight Indy, AND I refused to buy into the many “pay us $XXXX and we promise you a Bestseller!!!”, Um, I was born in the morning, but not THIS morning,,,). And I am still learning the process, the ropes of marketing (spit hack) and I am in need of even more learning/mentoring, and I will have to get professional help in editing and other parts of the process at some point in the future.
If we hold on that long,,,,
I’m gonna try to clean up my attitude over the next day: more as I can, or just another rant, Time will tell and always does, I just hope to be alive to see it.
+ on same thought process, I also know a bunch that, when shits on the rails, they pull amazing results out of seemingly nothing, but I really Do Not Want to rely on that level of serendipity.
