Oddly just before I checked in to get your take I stated out loud, he just declared war on half the country. I do not believe that to be hyperbole. Of course it wasn’t really his idea or his rhetoric. He is just the mentally addled, likely amphetamine enhanced mouthpiece of the cabal driving this shitshow. Everything in this movie is scripted to the nth degree. That crazy blood red background with the anon marines..not happenstance. We have been in the conflict for a while, this just makes it a little more official. Same old playbook. Dehumanize the political enemies (a la russia, china, nazi Germany) and it makes the killing/imprisonment of them easier. It is the right thing to do after all right? They have awarded themselves the moral high ground so it is all justified right? Any lingering doubts about where this is headed should be completely quashed at this point. Saddle up, prepare, then prepare some more. Storm is here. I got some work some work to do.
