Welcome to my brain. It’s messy. It’s interesting. And it’s all connected if you stick around long enough. "Believe Nothing: no matter who said it, even if I have said it, except it agree with your own reason and common sense. Siddhartha Guatamo, the Buddha.

Now THAT is what I am talk’n’bout

Wee hours start. Saw the most profound thing ever, before we even headed to water. B’s dawggum Sasha, having a totally poetic moment, watching the sunrise. She sat there for about 10 minutes, just watching the world wake up, never twitched an inch.

Then it was time to hit water. By the time we were pushing offshore, the sun was up and breaking over that ridge, but that’s ok, we were moving and the temps weren’t in the melt your eyeballs out level yet.

As for our little experiment, I don’t think, at least in my case, that I proved one way or the other which is the faster boat. Ghost is plenty fast, (B n I raced back to shore and the Top speed made it to 6.1mph. That ain’t a nuthin’ burger when your engine is YOU.). The three miles out we did in 48 minutes, and the average moving speed was 4.0. Top speed THEN, was 5.2 and we hit that leaving shore to the main artery. I’m rather proud of those numbers when you consider that neither B nor I are what you would call ‘in athletic shape’.

Return trip, we dilly-dallied a bit, and took a couple of side channels.

and our ugly mugs

And now, the temps are reaching pinnacle with 3000% humidity and its time for Dio to put the lappy away before this heat does bad things to it. It may be later when we get back on (IN) water, and that probably will be just to cool off, not play in boats. Maybe. Depends. We are planning on roll practice and that may happen today ‘just cuz’.
