Gonna start with that pardon of a worm in a three peice suit,,,   been holdin’ me tongue on this as I wanted more perspective,  and as is par for my course, T.L. delivered, 

My take: this was a CYA event and if it weren’t for the dirt, The Clan woulda thrown Hunter undet the wheels of the bus.   Fact is, he knows way too much and if ‘immune’ to prosecution,  could have taken the whole gang down: now ‘he owes them’ and will act accordingly.   

As for future pardons of other criminal elements like Mayorkas and Co., yeah,,,   nice thinking,  but they are just as, if not more dirty: they are oathbreakers at the start line,  do you think they would be honest even with a level of immunity from prosecution???  Be honest with your thinking here, its much easier to lie to yourself.   My personal thought being: they’ll lie as usual,  take the perjury hit and do a small stint behind bars, rather than face a serious case of Arkan-cide,,,   I fully expect to see more deaths such as we were witness to with a certain CEO this week.

And on that note,,,

I expect that there will be more of that outside of the political spectrum since its pretty obvious the two tiered “Just-us” system isn’t going to recover fast enough for the ‘man on the street’s satisfaction, IMO.   I think Trumped and his cotterie of Hooligans (for the most part)(and don’t take that nickname as a negative,, I like many of those ‘hooligans’. )   are on the same side as the ‘man in the street’, and I would hope they understand that the (S)election cycle showed SERIOUS distrust in all things GOV and that the rudely woken up BASED Giant is flat sick of this shit.  THEY (as in Trumped and krew) fix it, OR WE’RE AGONNA,,,, And the establishment won’t like what that entails.   (I haven’t read this post by T.L. yet, but I am betting it hits much the same vein I just exposed above.)

THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE SICK OF THIS SHIT, BEING ROBBED, RAPED, AND SHIT ON, BY THE VERY PEOPLE THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO REPRESENT US.  WE are sick of seeing ‘a sworn enemy’ as more stable and sane than the Fucknutz we have in office. (yes, I am refering to Putin here)   We have a Shaministration on its way out the door giving BILLIONS of dollars to some obscure cause called ‘Africans hurt by natural disasters’ while AMERICAN CITIZENS ARE FREEZING AND STARVING IN TENTS IN APPALACHIA because ‘reasons’,,,,   The same people have options available to them and are being denied those options because 1) they weren’t on the prefered vendors list (read that as ‘someone ain’t getting a kickback) or 2) it ‘Violates codes’ (and when disaster happens, those codes need to take a backseat to expedience: people need help, sort the details out after the fact.) or 3) ‘they supported Trump’,,,,(nuff said on that,,,,)    Is it any wonder why Appalachia is turning RED with a quickness?   I’m more surprised that we aren’t hearing tales of dissappeared Agents and shallow graves,,,,

Here is something that those in power don’t wanna hear:   We the PEOPLE don’t need them,,,   Get the fuck out of the way and we can get some mad crazy shit done, in half the time and WAY underbudget,,,,    And we are getting really really sick of y’all gettin in our way.    We are sick of y’all trying to tell us that our eyes and ears are lying to us, when we know full well where the lies are coming from.   We are sick and tired of seeing 1/3rd of our paychecks being sent only God knows where, for only God knows What (and Screw-em-more and Peelouzy know what percentage gets kicked back,,,)  We are sick and tired of the backstabbing divide and conquer that has become the Common Denominator since OBlammy-O-Boy was in the house on his first term.   We KNOW who is/was running the show up until Xi-Den got stabbed in the back (and  I would bet serious money that he voted for OMB and that there is some deal making going on between the two currently.   Not gonna say I like it, but I can see it in some of the current actions.    Those things like ‘approving missle launches against Russia’ are some nut job behind the scenes trying to keep Cookie Nuland’s legacy alive. Or is still answering to Barry and Co. or both,,,,)   There are too many small signs that tell me (and others) that Xi-den had a turncoat moment and tossed the DNC under the bus by endorsing Que-mala.   And with good reason,,, THAT ENTIRE SIDE HAS NO LOYALTY TO ANYTHING BUT POWER and it shows.  

And WE THE PEOPLE are flat sick of it.   

We want our kids to get GOOD EDUCATIONS, not indoctrinated in Marxist bullshit.

We want our healthcare to keep us healthy, not life long clients to a system that slowly kills us.

We want a justice system that is BLIND to all but the law.  No color, no creed, no bank accounts taken into consideration as to who gets protected,,,

We want a government that is small but effective, and NOT in our backpocket like a leech.

We voted for Trump because we BELIEVE he can at least deliver on some of those things.  

But if he can’t,

WE WILL.

Being a beach bum,,,

Maybe its the KOLD, Freeze  your digits off, snow bound, lack of work, despondent side of me right now,,, Not that I am snow-bound, but with zero inflow of FRN’s ( I did get my Zon Royalties this week,,, but that won’t even buy a burger at a cheap place) I choose to not burn fuel to go anywhere that would require me to part ways with cash.

Sigh,,,, it’s quite white out right now.   Took the morn to blow off the solar panels, the porch, stacked kayaks, and the woodpile, (the packrats LOVED that!, NOT!!!)  Feed the kittehs and Voo, and take the Voo out to leave the neighbors some shit.   And a-now,,, Kalifornia dreamin’,,,,   Well, not exactly Kalifornia,,, anywhere with saltwater, beachsand and WARM SUNLIGHT would do me just fine.    Wander the beach for sand-dollars to sell to the tourista, do some surf-casting for dinner, wear the callouses down on my happy barefeet walkin’ in the sand (they hatez the need for shoes,,,),,,   Kayak out to my crab-traps in the afternoon,   (Dio swoons with the thought of fresh crab and Red Snapper for dinner,,,,)

Being this far south, it’s not bad,,, its a tad early IMO, but that could mean we are in for a rough season or Ol’man winter is gonna chill out and idle through to March,,, it goes either way and no one can say for certian.   But my Littlest Sis is up NOrt, getting hammered by lake effect.   I’m sure she is missing the beaches of Floriduh right now,,,,   I know Sis in the Carolinas was grumpin’ about ‘I moved south to get away from this shit’,,,,   Yeah,,, so did I,,,   Guess further south is a callin’.  

Say, around the Tropic of Cancer line,,,,,    Belize is supposed to be nice,,,,  I could get close by living at the southern-most tip of Texas,,,   (not a good choice IMO,,,)

Guess I gotta hit the lottery for that ‘un,,,,   Sure ain’t gonna make a move like that on what I am pulling in current.

The wind whispers over the sand as the small waves of the ocean carress them smooth,,, cooler winds from other shores across the ocean,,,,  The trade winds that brought our ancestors to these shores,,

The woodburner is crankin’ out the heat, and if I put a fan near it, I could close my eyes and feel like I were on the beach,,  WITH LOTS OF IMAGINATION,,, 

I DO NOT LIKE WINTER-TIME,,,,   My eyes are sore from all the reading,,, BUT, I have made a serious dent in that pile, (and its too early, may need to find more,,,) 

and I need a new cushion in my office chair,,,, starting to feel the frame inside in places.

Been two weekends that I have not gone kayaking.   Feeling a tad withdrawn here,,,

and I am GOING DAMMIT!!!

Hell, the water is gonna feel like bathwater right now, compared to air-temps (but that ain’t saying its safe: will still chill you into paralysis damned quick.)

Probably won’t be out long, but to not go on a four day weekend is procrastinatin’ in my book.  Yeah, will most likely be solo, will probably not leave sight of the boat ramp, but I will do some windsprints and get the muscles warmed up, and maybe, IF I actually get into the full drysuit, not my wetsuit drytop combo, I may even do some roll practices.   I haven’t made up the mind on that one yet.   (and sorta depends on the wind factor,,,)

I don’t like the cold, but I despise lack of water time even more.   I have the gear for it: not utilizing it causes me some personal shame issues.

HT to Francis for this one.  I’ve liked reading this so far (not done) and to be honest, diving into such thoughts,,,    refreshing, like a cool water mist from a waterfall on a hot summers day.   So few around these parts wish to exercise the mind, and when I get a chance to read such,,,,   MUCH NEEDED

Lots more books on that stack yet; almost all written around the time of the great wars: pre or post, but during a time when minds were still cultivated (for the mostpart) not indoctrinated.

Now, if you have read the book, you know the content of it, so what I am about to say will make sense to you.  (If not, in the dark,,,)  Finding a copy of this book was difficult.   Lots of his other writings, but this one was elusive for me.    I found lots of summaries as written by others, thier interpretations of it (I want the word from the horses mouth, dangit)  It honestly felt like there was some ‘force’ trying to keep this knowledge away. 

Conspiracy?   Technological entities wanting to keep things silent?  AI redirecting to ‘more contempary thought’ that conforms to Two Tiered society? 

Dunno, but  it felt manipulated.    Find it I did, and likely paid WAY TOO MUCH for it, but I have it now: dead tree and e-reader versions.  

and loving it.   Time to stretch the brainium a bit and recover some of those braincells stolen by the intelligence vampires I work with on the day to day.

(did you know that the brain consumes 40% of the calories you consume?   Not from the forementioned book; just one of those useless bits of knowledge I collect that sometimes are found useful.)

Any howevers and whatnots, Its KOLD out and I’m in hibernate and re-educate mode.  Kittehs are cycling in and out as the heat gets to them, and they need a cooling down.  BUT they are leaving me alone for the mostpart.   GOOD!  

And the phone is on the shelf, charging, providing a hotspot as needed, but NOT DISTRACTING ME.

Updated: Finished.  Three chapters; this was more a thesis than a full scale book.  Well worth the read though.   Only downside I found was a significant LACK of comma punctuation.   This may have been due to the age of the writing and that most books from that time period were handset type for the first run.   Typesetters hated the comma (I know personally, because that was one of my vocational art classes way backawhen.)  Too easy to lose them on the block, hard to see even when not lost, etc etc.   It did make some of the sentence structure harder to understand and I would have to repeat through the sentence to ‘place’ the commas.   Not easy as misplaced commas CAN change the meaning.      The “A Panda eats bamboo, shoots, and leaves.” sort of miscommunication.

First and foremost, I give thanks that there are still people in this world that enjoy coming to my ‘shop’ and reading my drivel.   I’m just a little fish in mighty big sea of quantum souls, and that, after 12 years (yes, this site is that old) I am still getting commentary and input, beyond that of ‘wots in me hed’.   I can’t thank you all enough in that regard.

I give thanks that, even as I am getting older, I am still in decent health, able to do for myself without assistance.   I give thanks that my Da, much older than I (only, not really: only 28 years.  Doesn’t seem like all that much these days.) is much the same.  Yeah, he needs a little help picking stuff up, doesn’t last as long when swingin’ an axe to split wood, but he IS still doing those things of his own will.   I have HUGE shoes to fill in my future, and I give thanks that the bar is that high.

I give thanks to my sisters.   You taught me how to be a man that respects women: I see many examples of the other sort every day.   That alone makes me special in ways I can’t articulate in short form, like in this blog.

I give thanks to my Grands, for without thier genetic makeup, I might be something completely different in this world: I rather like this version of me and can not imagine any other.  (just a little solipsism slip there,,,,)

I give thanks to Brudda B, you know why,   words sully the content.

I give thanks to the rest of my Kayak-y friends,,,  You hold me to my bullshit, but you drive me in other ways and thats a good thing.   Broader horizons than I would find on my own.

I give thanks that the world’s collective conciousness WOKE UP and realized that insanity was rampant.   It was a simple election cycle, but signs of healing abound already.   I can only hope the momentum continues, or even increases.   Keep up the good work on a personal/local level and maybe we will see an end to the insanity without the world burning down around our ears.

I’m off to visit the Fam, eat too danged much, and bring back some ‘dead dinosaur’ for the kittehs and Voo.   They deserve a little treat just as much as we do.   (they don’t feel the need to celebrate thanksgiving; the little rats are self absorbed psychopaths, confident they are the pinnacle of genetic excellence.  Loves ’em anyways,,,)
