Great weekend in the woods, clearing some of the sewage that accumulates over time in the backwaters and eddies of the mind.

Both Brudda B and I got an early off and were able to make camp by noonish on Freeday.   Nice enough weather up to Satyrday night when the winds came up and the temperatures dropped,

but livable.   We just called it an early night and retired to our individual shelters.  

Was up way before the dawn both days.    Was able to see satallites  on Satyrday morning.    Was staring up and suddenly felt vertigo as is seemed like the sky was moving, in a linear direction.   Then realized the ‘stars’ I was seeing were satallites and moving way higher and faster than any commercial airliner could.   no markings and were invisible to the naked eye until they hit the higher edge of terminus.    Dunno if what I was seeing was Gen1 Starlinks (before they started putting the anti-reflective coating on them) or some other group of units, but they were in  fast orbit.

Yeah, we were that far out in the boondocks that light pollution was zero.   its a few miles to camp once you hit the gravel road, and worth the trip every time.   PEACE, QUIET, very few drivethroughs, and the ones that do like to camp there prefer the same things we do.

T’weren’t many out there this weekend and the pair that were, folded early when the temps dropped off.  

Not Brudda B and I,,,, build up the fire till even it ain’t cuttin’ it, then sleeping bag time.    

My only fail (besides the fact that I forgot my camp chair) was an air mattress that had developed a slow leak since last outing.   I would wake up every hour or so to re-inflate it enough to get to the next time. Boney shoulders and hips contacting ground, were the wake up call to do so, then roll over and back to sleep.    Gonna have to inflate the thing underwater to see any leaks it may have as soapy water and pressure haven’t revealed it yet.   OR, wait till it gets worse  and won’t hold pressure over time.   Frugal me has no desire to replace it at this time (not like its in regular use,,,,) and I have other options.   That particular matress is only for my single man tent that I can’t get my cot into, and I have an thinner one that I use when Hammock campling (more for the added insulation than support like I need on the ground)  BUT, if kayak-kamping, its sorta critical because that tent is the schizznizzle for fitting in a kayak: and it can be set up anywhere thats flat and coffin sized.  Very low profile and has withstood a texas turd floater pretty danged well.(would have done better if i had chosen a higher site to pitch it.)

But, tis back to the grind tomorrow.   Weather is getting more springlike than winter like and we should start seeing blooms aplenty here soon.   Spring is springin’ forward. (with the occasional pissed off winter coming back into the room sayin’ “OH! and one more thing,,,,”or “I forgot to add that your momma wears combat boots,,,,” or somesuch.)

As for the real world,,,, dunno.   totally off the horn of such over the last couple days, and other than the Koked up Krainian getting kicked out of the White House, haven’t been paying too much attention (and really, not even sure about that event at this point.)

A much needed respite and Ground and Center is now behind me and my mind is much clearer for it.

working on that build post.  

Currently have one panel built and pics taken, but I ain’t gonna let the cat out of the bag just yet.   Except to say “my house is rockin’, don’t bother knockin’.”

Long story short, I popped my little three hundred watt amp I bought with my original purchase.  I was wiring things up to test the new panels and the case bumped the hot lead from the battery; Small shower of sparks and dead amp,,,, 

sigh,,,,

Time to pull out the old system and rig it up so it works a bit longer.  Poor old girl has a bad connector on the input panel and needs looked into, but if you hold it ‘just right’, she still rocks the house.    Thats what I used to test things tonight,,,,

SO, as I build the second panel speaker (DML) and get wired for power on the old system, I will post up the goodness of QUALITY sound and how far we have come in the Hi-Fi game,,,,

Epsteins list has been released and AG Bondi is supposed to get the 1000+ pages of FBI investigation reports tomorrow and they are intending to release those as soon as they redact all the VICTIMS information.

THIS!!!!    Yes, don’t care if the hooligans involved are the dirt bags or the popular ones.  IF they are a part of that mess, they are ALL scumbags and need reckoned with.

Keep your eyeballs open to what comes over the next couple weeks as this information becomes common knowledge.   Watch to see which ones flee over the next 72 hours, and I would bet there are more than a few that are seeking asylum in strange places.

Yes, I probably needed to clarify that my wishy-washy stance was due to family; though, in my defense, I DID mention that this was a cousin,,,,     Still, I added ‘risking FB jail’ so there is that.   She needs to hear it and maybe if I had spoken up (wrote it out, more like) OTHERS WOULD SEE IT AS WELL, and if they didn’t agree outright, they might be teetering and need the information to fall on the right side of the fence.   The more that we wake up, the more the voice of reason grows in volume, the less purchase the left has on the levers of power,,,, 

Cruel to be kind,,,   When they see the lies they have lived with, they may fold like wet cards, but they will have a chance to make corrections.    Many may terminate over the realization, and that can’t be helped, but if we leave them in the red zone, they will become a force in need of reckoning, and as Sarah says,,,”Once you start feeding madame Guillotine, you can’t stop for a long time, and you’ll be fed to it yourself.”    We may end up on that path: lets pray the polite request of Trumped and Krew is heard and heeded.

I don’t get on Fakebuk very often anymore.   Actually, I’ve been avoiding ALL social media that isn’t ‘interest specific’ (IE Speaker building and kayaking stuff) because the flood of liberal tears is overflowing into everything.  No need to seek out the pools, when the rivers are awash,,,,

BUT

I have this liberal cousin up “el norte” who does post on Fakebuk and when I went there in follow up to a notification, HER post was on the home page.      She was criticizing Trump and his efforts to dissolve the Dept of Ed.   (I shortened that word because ‘educate’ is the least point of that departments efforts.)

I read her post, and EVERY SINGLE POINT she posted was some talking point of the left; has been or can easily be debunked/refuted with about 5 minutes of internet searching.

My conundrum,,,, Tempt fate and Fakebuk jail and rip her argument to shreds (while also driving a wedge into a limb of the family tree) and SHOW HER WHERE SHE’S AN IDIOT.

OR

Ignore it and block the poster because you can’t “Fix people”.

The problem being,  THE REAL PROBLEM is that she is only a sample of what is out there.  People still buy that the MSM’s are credible and truthful and honest and

gag reflex in 3, 2,,,,,

We live in interesting times, no doubt of that….    at least this form of interesting has a chance to RETURN US TO OUR BASE.    Only a chance mind you: its going to take serious effort from the people on the grass to keep things on course.  We need to keep hot tongs to the feet of our representatives and other elected and non-elected power holders.   Let them know we are on to the game and that we aren’t playing this time.    The threat of firearms and hemp rope are VERY REAL and not to be shrugged off.

But what about those out here in the grass that continue to spread the disease?     Logic and facts mean nothing if they don’t align with the narrative these people REQUIRE to keep functioning.     How do you re-educate someone that has been living that lie for 50+years and refuses to even open the window of the mind to alternative thinking?  Refuses to consider that MAYBE there is truth in the words of the common man that have more weight than those of the goliaths in the MSM?

Thats mid song.   Natalie Merchant Carnival is the song.    Thats from 2meters off face.    Granted, thats using the phone’s microphone (see update midpost) so it ain’t calibrated to any degree of accuracy and there may be a certain ‘tuning’ to it.  (That spike at 10K is what I am suspecting is ‘tuned in’, seeing how most people can’t hear that frequency very well and it IS known as a comm signal between remote computerized systems.    SO,,,,   I’m not ruling out that there is some spike in the ‘speaker’ at the 10K point, but I am thinking its more the microphone,,,,ALSO; the phone is suspended from a Desklamp frame; kinda sorta isolated from external vibration.   (really wish I had my Smaartlive and CALIBRATED microphones still.    Sold them to a buddy in the system when I got out.)

STILL,,, Look at that profile there.   Not DEAD FLAT, but between 100hz and 1000hz, its RIGHT THERE.    Those are the most active areas people ‘hear’ with the brighter stuff just polishing off the mix and bringing out the distinctness of instruments and vocals.   Was even seeing tonals below 100hz.

Note that 10K hump is seriously reduced,,,, May have been something residual in the first recording.  Also note that things drop down below 100hz quite well (and can be heard, down to around 70,    Set up a crossover at 98hz and you have full range,,,,)

That 10K hump is back,,, HighHat, China’s,,,, dunno, something in the cymbals range though,,,,,

Tell me that these speakers aren’t amazing,,, Not kidding, toss in a subwoofer and these things rival the $1000+/each studio monitors I have heard.   NOT MATCH: RIVAL, even putting some of those high dollar Yamaha speakers I loved to shame. 

(Note: all sounds played through single channel,  same speaker same amp settings and eq flat. Power supply is 12dcv by battery bank so ZERO ac hum.  My house is reflective free (by design) for the most part (unless the bathroom door is open)

(updated after first draft: took phone out of case after I had uploaded all these screenshots.   The signal description flattened out even further and that 10k hump smoothed out near flat with a beginning roll off around 15k.   That is pretty typical of MP3 source, which are what I was playing.  The case was ‘amplifying’ the 10k range, while hindering the 1200=10k rang with a dead spot at 6k.)

OK<3  nuff with borin’ y’all.    I will have the new drivers here in a couple days, and then I set up a permenant install.   I WILL DO A PICTORAL OF THAT BUILD. I’m forgoing the Sub at this time (money issue: as in, I need to be more frugal with my spending for a while.)  BUT, it is definitely on the schedule of events in the near future. (along with a 2.1 amplifier so I have dedictated outputs for all speakers, not a mix-match of amplfiers,,, more for simplicity,,,, If I really wanted my dream system, I would be running a McCauley Monarc6 line array with doubled dual 21″ subs and a rack of amplifiers and processors to include a 7 band parametric with sweepable mid ranges.(all three mids,,,,)   (FYI,,, what I just described is a quarter million dollar system.)   (and if you own a system like that, you RUN IT,,, you don’t sound off at your house on the weekends with it.  Systems like that make money,,,,,)(and I just found out that McCauley no longer produces the line array systems, 😦     )
