and then you have the fun with China supposedly being rectified with negotiations,,, Full on currency wars are the new normal now, and ours is tied into the Chinese like siamese twins these days.
Seems like we are poised on that nuke exchange thing, but just enough talking going on to keep the thumbs off the big red buttons,,,,

Thunderboomer weekend. Prolly not going to get lake time this week. Not just because of the weather, but dawgum,,, Little Cozzie is scared of water currently. If there is a break in the weather, I’m considering taking him to the local watering hole and coaxing him into a swim, (Mostly by walking in myself and leading him in slow. Don’t want to reinforce bad vibes by a toss in,,,)
All we can do is watch to see what the world does, and while we wait, LIVE our lives as best we can. Paying bills seems like the most excitement I have these days. (at least, seeing the balance drop gives me a positive feeling,,,) Work lately has been more a Zen moment than actual work. Like today, doing a repair job. Reset poles for a sliding gate, then returned to shop and made a new gate, from scratch, in less than 3 hours. 21′ slider, 3 hours,,,, both sides complete, ready for install. Posts will be set up by Muhnday, so I guess I know at least one project I will be working on. Fact is, I barely recall making the gate,,, zoned out, in my groove, had the tunes going and it wasn’t until bossman sent one of the emps down to ask how much longer that I realized I was almost DONE,,,, I guess he knows my skill/drive levels better than I do,,,

Da is back in the bird business. He was coming home from running around and found a fledgling Crow walkin’ along the road. IN full plumage, but not enough air experiance, so he was walking,,,, Friendly little cuss too. Takes food from hand,

And this isn’t the first for dad by any means. We used to raise crows when we were kids. Many a fond memory of riding our bikes with a crow on the handlebars, teaching them to fly. They would get that wind in their face and start spreading wings, flapping, building the muscles up, and usually after a few days of practice, OFF THEY WOULD GO, on thier own. Some would stick around for a time, most usually returned every year, and they all had unique ways of Cawing that we all could hear. Crows are VERY smart (and thieves, but thats a feature not a bug.)
This one won’t be around long,,, natural born and raised; Da doesn’t want to impress on it too much. Just get it strong enough to fly on its own and let it go its merry way. Wings sure beat the feet thing, so he needs to learn to use’em.

What the everg lovin’ heck is wrong with LA that riots are seemingly a Tourist attraction there. Watts back in the late 60’s, Rodney King riots in the early 90’s, several tween there and here in the timeline,,, and now,,,,
And of course there is hard evidence that this is a bought and paid for event, with enough cut-outs to allow plausible deniability to the instigators, (cough, Oblammy-O-Boy, and the Soros backers, Cough coff)
I’m slightly torn here, because I was the one guy that stood down during the Rodney King debacle, and even with the stacked charges, the only thing that stuck was ‘failure to make movement’. I didn’t make that movement, so that one was ‘gimme’ for the prosecution. Of the others, “conspiracy to overthrow the governemnt’ and Sedition,,,, Yes, they threw the book at me,,, only one stuck,,, B’cuz honestly, at that point, I was an ignoramous about politics and what the world was doing behind the scenes. I knew one thing and one thing only at that point and that was that POSSE COMMITATUS was a real thing and we were NOT supposed to be used against civilians of the US,,, Period, DOT, end of sentence. (I believe I have mentioned this before as well: only a few months prior to the Rodney King shit, there was the 29 palms survey, asking Marines if they would take up arms against civvies. The questionaire was loaded to the gills with such questions, and your typical crayon eating Grunt wouldn’t have understood the logic and logical fallacies buried within. I saw the questionaire, it was intended to justify to someone in DOD that the Marines were on call for stoopid shit,,,, Granted, we always had been, but NEVER against our own, you understand. This was part of another strategy in play.
This LEVIATHAN has been growing for a very long time. IMO, it was birthed in 2001 with the Patriot Act (that wasn’t at all patriotic) but had been gestating since JFK took two to the head (and now its appears he took THREE,,,)
I’m holding back on a lot of thoughts about whats going on here. Yes, the National gaurd do have ‘jurisdiction’ in this case if it means ‘keeping the peace’ or suppressing an insurrection: its quite a grey area really,,, I choke when I say that about the NGs,,, (and they should have never been sent overseas for duty where the regular DOTMIL was supposed to carry the ball, Jes-sayin’.)
AND right now, I am just watching. This has the seeds to grow into that RevWarIII aka CWII that so many have been predicting,,,, The question really lays in ‘are all the seeds ready to grow?” . I’m not so sure,,but I am certainly not going to be surprised if they do. The biggest seed is the DEEP polarization of this country right now. LEFT/RIGHT for one, then you have the REAL US citizens vs those that came here but refuse to intergrate. Even if they naturalized, there are huge groups in this country that brought all of thier baggage with them and expect us to accept it as legit. NO!!!, You came here for a leg-up, get with the program and accept that we have societal standards, and they ain’t what you left behind,,,,
Yeah,,THAT!!! Don’t see much of it in immigrants (even the legal ones) from 2000s onward.
I just gonna eyeball for awhile and see if this is just another grand distraction from the real dealios (kabuki theater) of it drops into that death spiral into terrafirma,,,

We knew there were invasion forces embedded in the immigration waves we have been witness to. The above, Look RILLLY close at the dude. That’s a Vatos,,,Probably third or fourth Gen Losangelino OR trying to appear as such. Thats not to say I agree with said dude stance/opinion: our immigration is out of control and we are under an invasion that apparently is going kinetic. Let the bullets fly,,, And yes, there will be real civilian casualties as usual, but this situation is out of hand now and needs fixed.

ALL the sisters in town this weekend!!! ALL of ’em! Fact being, My Aunt has had planned a surprise 85th Bday party for my Dad for several months now, and surprisingly, NO ONE said a frellin’ word to dad. Surprising to me since this area is so gossip prone, I figured someone was going to spill the beans long ago.
Nope, didn’t happen, but I think dad is suspicious as heck right now. Seeing how two of my Sisters ‘just showed up’ out of the clear blue. Third sis is nearby, having flown in last night, but stayed at hotel near the airport for logistics sake (and in attempt to keep that kat in the bag just a wee bit longer)
Thats all to the good. Da’s gonna be grumpy about it, “its just another damned day,,,,” only, NO, it ain’t. Not everybody makes it this far along, so no, its NOT just another day! And since he is so close to that expiration date not disclosed,,, we are all going to make the most of what time we do have left with him, a little more memorable. Let him grump,,, at least then we know he is actually happy. (its when the grumpin’ goes silent that I start to worry about him.)
Two points to talk about, sorta related. Cosmos went to Da’s with me last night. First time down the hill where he wasn’t ‘in the car’ with me. (he refused to get in, and refused to ‘stay’, We have another issue to work on now.) but followed me down. He did great down there. One big tiff with DaisyKat, who is more than a little psychotic even for Kat, but once the ‘dogs on porch, not in house’ was established, it was just vocalizations from that point. (and that witch of a kat can YOWLLLLL!!!, let me tell you,,,) And he met Patch (good Cousins pupper) and they hit it off in grand pupper wrastlin’ style. I wasn’t concerned with him running the ‘hood with her, since she doesn’t leave this hollar unless she is out walkin’ with Cuz. He had a good chaperone.
Second was, I was introduced to a new (pair of actually) drinks. Blackberry Crown and lemonade,,, Quite tasty!!! and the same Crown with Ryans Irishcream,,,, MMMMMmmmmmmmmmM!!!!!!!!!!!!! tasted like a blackberry cobbler pie,,,, (note, that second one has a creep factor to it,, as in it will creep up on ya and a’fore ya know it, YOU are BUZZED!!!!)
Dad didn’t like it. He’s never been much of a whiskey fan. Will drink it, Hot totties etc, but not his game. More the wine drinker he is.
I guess my irish side comes more from my Moms parents,,,, LOL
Its a rainy day out there: Cozzie and Elbee are hiding in house, away from the wet and drizzles, curled up being good little furry lumps. Bored obviously, but thats the breaks when the weather turns,,, Cozzie is in for another learning curve come winters,,,, (and he had better master that dogdoor by then, dammit!)
anywhoooss,,,,,, I’m babblin’ now. Not much to talk about concerning the world at large. Just watching and waiting, no big Friday surprise that I saw(so far) and I am standing on the “Trump and Musk are trolling for lefties” status in the X-files; will see.

Kabuki theater, trolling the Left: this seem more tactical and staged to me than actual ‘sibling rivalry’ between a pair of Billionaires. Keep watching this little shit-fest, and keep the popcorn handy. But its all THEATER,,,
WHY?
They are distractions from whats going on, on the world stage, where we are seconds away from the EU being turned into a glass ashtray combat theater. Watch for some outbreaks of PLandemic level (and short lived) Biologics over the summer months. just my thoughts, hopefully and likely wrong.
BUT Distractions,,, because in reality, the Top down Governance is failing in ways they can’t believe and every bandaid they throw at it only cause more hemoraging elsewhere. There are riots taking place all over Europe and the media is not covering them in any fashion, nor even breif mention. This is telling as the media and the Governments are tied together at the hips.
Frosty times ahead, and I do mean FROSTY as I believe winter this year is not going to be one of our milder ones. WIth the sunspot activity, and gaping holes showing on the face of the sun, things coming our way are having effects on the surface here. Its frellin’ JUNE and I recently was able to turn the heat off overnight. And the shift from ‘chill your bones’ to ‘Sweat and Stew’ was literally over one week, no gradual change. It felt like early spring until it jumped straight into high summer.
Me thinks this August and September are gonna be roasting hot, then come October, we start to freeze, and deep freeze at that. Get your ducks in rows (read, stack that firewood son!) now. At least I have a jump on things with some recent windfalls: two red oaks and a white oak I need to fell still.
SO between weather, Failing public policy and information overload across the world, we are on the cusp of something much bigger and the Powers that wanna be are in death throes, to include those on that shining hill. KABUKI THEATER is covering whats really happening and we are left to peice it all together from little slips of the tongue.
Like Elon decommisioning the Dragon,,,, That little rocket (it ain’t little) is the only beast making his company money right now: why would you shutter the breadwinner without a competent replacement all ready to go? There is something going on in that sphere and I am watching intently to see if it has something to do with atmospheric/Geomagnetics,,, Maybe a little paranoia on my part due to old apocalyptic reading, but hey, there is a bit of truth in those old theories. Maybe the eggheads in DARPA know something and those in the loops are preparing for it,,,,
