Still gonna do the podcast but wish more would find the gumption to crack oprn a book or 3,,,  i,personally think reading exercises MORE nuerons than simple visual inputs, like video,  or strictly audio.   With reading,  your mind ‘makes up’ the lack of the other two, visualizing the scenes, embellishing the spoken parts. (Like with the Balrog scene in LOTR: self and EX both said “Just the way I imagined it!” )

That could mean that I miss the band LIVE,,, (and no, I still can hear them when I want: good band, but went strange with a quickness.)  No, what I am missing is being able to ‘mix on the fly’: grab that fader, or Gain Knob, mix in bussed effects, adjust the parametric EQ, or patch in a compressor/limiter,,,,

The New Mic came in today (still need a decent set of cans,  Using my Ulitmate InEar monitors currently.  Good, but may be a bit clinical for the goal.)(yes, I still have them 18 years later and yes they still work flawlessly. They’d frellin’ better for a $1000 set of headphones.)

I’m experiancing a curve here.   Add EQ, sample, adjust, resample, adjust more, resample,,,

That there is why I LOVED mixing live.    We had the tools, and patching or bussing things around the board was the schizznizzle.    When we went with Digital Consoles, that became even easier,  One of my favorite Digi consoles, even though it wasn’t pro-level, was the Mackie TT-24.   I personally owned this unit when I was prepping to go back out on my own, That TT meant ‘Two Touch”.  Anything I needed to do was two touches away from the main screen.   And screenshots of the entire board could be done.    Like the settings you dialed in at a particular venue or for a particular band: SAVE and then later, two touches from the main screen, pull it up and ALL THE FADERS AND KNOBS would shoot to the last place they were at when you saved it.   WAY COOL.    

Some of the higher grade Digi Boards could have used a lessoning on “User Friendly” from Mackie, IMO.   (and its been many years, they are likely MUCH BETTER,,,)

But I blew the ears and lost the creds.   It would take years to regain my position, even if the ears were up to par again. Will admit, can’t see it happening from this side of 57, ears or no ears.

But I miss that.    These Computer interfaces are strictly studio style, and TEDIOUS is the operative word.   I can’t really complain about their functionality, but user friendly is NOT a key feature.  Especially not when the guy doing the fun is used to HIGH SPEED LOW DRAG stuff.

I’ll get it.   Lots of reading to a mic, playing with settings, sampling, editing, sampling new mix, etc etc etc,,,

And I found I have somehow picked up a ‘california lilt’; where I raise the voice pitch at the end of a sentence.   Almost as if every sentence is a question or begging forgiveness for speaking.  IRRITATING!!!   I’ll be untraining that with a quickness now that I am aware of it.

Yes y’all, I have been busy, and ain’t done yet.    When I have this polished up to where I don’t gag when I hear it, You will get a chance at it.      So, bear a little more patience with this grumpy ol sound-dood; he will deliver,,,,

That is what the left is in fear of.  I personally believe that deep, DEEP down inside, the left knows that their ‘world’ is based on fallacy and whimsy.  And those don’t hold up when exposed to the voices of reason and logic.  

That was what Charlie Kirk brought to the table.    Admittedly, watching some of his videos, he also fell prey to the Faith Fallacy: His ‘pillars’ that were based on fallacy were spiritual, not moral, so he was able to withstand the storms he found himself in.   This one being a great example.*

Here, I have to tell you, I agree with BOTH of these gents.   I will also say that the body language of the younger debator SCREAMED arrogance while Charlies was that of the warrior; stolidly awaiting the firestorm forthcoming.   The younger debator also did a lot of the “Talk fast and loud” tactic, and I find that annoying as fuck.

and disagree with both.   

thats the point of OPEN DEBATE, air the sides, let audience make the connections as they will, and then, maybe someone can come in and ‘do it again’ and the whole evolves

or maybe I should say “DISTILLS”,,,    Thats what we do when we distill a product, be it alcohol, water or whatever: we refine it to a purer substance.  Preferably one that is healthy and sane.   That should be the goal in debates, not ‘winning’. (and yes, I know we distill poisons as well,,, and that could be the end result of debates as well, seeing how many a greek debate ended up in war sanctions back 3000 years ago.)

I won’t go into the agree/disagree parts here (In a way, I have already in my seperate page: if you have dived into that, I am sure you can spot the areas where I am like “Nope, Don’t agree!”)

Where I will say I agree, and I noticed that the Arrogant YOut! kept skipping around it,  was the  Man/Woman aspects that are traditionally THE NORM.    There was another video where this same subject was handled a little differently by Charlie, but I haven’t a clue if that was before or after this one.   I would say ‘after’ as he seemed to be more solidly planted in his convictions in the other video.

I DO agree with that point.   I have no issues if someone(s) want to live in a homogenous gender relationship.   Thats the business of two consenting adults, but I DO BELIEVE, that MARRIAGE is a contract and that Contract signals the intent of PROGENY, and any homogenous relationship is not going to be able to reproduce.  Sure, they can adopt or something, but thats not reproduction: someone else did the hard work there.  The Marriage contract should not be sullied by whimsical relationships, or short term business gain: it SHOULD be a lifelong commitment with the intent of furthering the species and your particular set of genetic contributions to the same.

*I call FAITH a fallacy for the simple fact it can not be PROVEN/DISPROVEN.    A good Charletan can appear fully faith drivin’ and not have a shred of belief.    I don’t believe that to be the case in Charlie: his faith was ‘rock solid’ whether it could be proven or not.   I noted that the kid tried on a couple of occasions to drive a wedge in that faith and failed completely each time.

So, if you took my calling faith a fallacy, please do not be offended, its merely a definition in this case.   You can’t prove/disprove it, so technically, should not be used in debate, but Charlie LIVED his faith: it couldn’t be put aside that easily.

I gotta say, the post this morning, the link to Kevins site “The Smallest Minority”, and what he discussed about the live’n’let lives and the Evangilistic types (liberals in this case)   Lots of thinking on my part.

I can tell you one fear I have.  Anyone that has read Heinlein can tell you about his thesis of a Theocracy in these United States, and how that all worked out.  My fear, is the drive I am seeing and fear it may lead to a Theocracy of sorts, maybe even full blown Tyranical form as Heinlein ‘saw’.

Those of you that have spent any amount of time around this site know, I am not ‘Christaphobic’, even though I have different beliefs than your average run of the mill Christian.   I can tell you that ethics I was raised in, were Christian based, but that does not make one Christian.   My ‘seeker’ status started long before I left my fathers house, but it only reinforced my ethics, not taken away, even though my path has been further from the Christian bases.

Where would one such as myself fall in, in the scenario that is implied by the above Substack post?  He states ‘they have to put their Christaphobia aside and join forces’.   As if I hadn’t been on this side of the aisle for a couple of decades now.   What happens with those agnostics or Gnostics, or Buddhists, or Hindu, that DO SIDE with the Conservative side, are suddenly astrocized after ‘Victory’?    What if we suddenly found ourselves in the role of “Useful Idiot” that the Communists adore using as Cannon Fodder during the revolution?

Look, I could argue the religion side all day long, both for and against ((thats the benefit of my decades of seeking, seeing BOTH SIDES)) but I don’t think its JUST a christrian ethics thing.   As Kevin put it, this goes much deeper into the real spirit of HUMANITY, and how we are ultiimately two factions of the same species.   Those that want to live and let live, and those that think everyone can be better ‘if they were taught better’ or some such bullshit,,,   (I could go off on a tangent/rant here, but I’ll keep me cool for a minute.)

I spent the day at the shop, listening to Charlie Kirk debates.   I never really knew all that much about him: Heck, I wasn’t his target audience, the students of Liberal College Indoctrination.   Let me tell you, the memes those poor souls, the platitudes and attitudes they were spouting: Charlie was a Frellin Saint to not get off his chair and horsewhip some of those kids.    BUT, that was his whole point,,, Get out there, have serious, OPEN debates with these kids, show them, WITH LOGIC, REASON, FACTS, and yes, A little Sympathy (seeing how they have been brainwashed by liberal marxists ideologies and class division memes),,,   I am definitely NOT his target audience.

It all comes down to, and I believe Kevin Baker would agree with me here, EDUCATION, and how we have allowed the government of the last 5 decades run slipshod over the education of our children.    Trump promised to dismantle the Education Administration or whatever the full name of that Carter Born travesty is.   BUT, the problem is much more entrenched in the system now.  The Teachers Unions, The Administrators unions,  Charters that have been written and re-written without positive consultation of the parents of the children those Charters would have direct effect on.  We see NOW, that there are schools saying “No, your kid CAN NOT opt out of this program teaching Gender Fluidity” (Um, YES! they can: its called pull the child out of that Asylum Institution.).  

But its also the parentage in many cases.   SO few parent, especially the single parent struggling to make ends, let alone raise a child, probably has Little to Zero clue what the child is being taught.   They are struggling so hard that just making sure the homework gets done is about their limit.  Little do they know that said homework is teaching that child to hate their parents, their community, the Country they live in, but also THEMSELVES and the way they were born.   Young’uns that are on the cusp of puberty are fragile and VERY MOULDABLE!!! and the fuckers that came up with these gender studies KNOW IT, and exploit it,

and somehow, they made it INTO our schooling system,,,,

YES, I have SERIOUS PROBLEMS with that and those problems have little affiliation with Christianity.   But they do have to do with ETHICS, and one of those ethics is “PROTECT THE CHILDREN” and we are failing that by letting our enemy TEACH our children.

I don’t think I need to say most of us have been fools.   The evidence is everywhere.

I suggest going to read TL Davis’ post in full,   I agree with him on every count: I just feel some trepidation, as I illustrated in this post.   That we are escalating along, spurred by a Party of Stoopid that feels the need to go full throttle, and the Martyring of Charlie Kirk acting as a seed crystal, bringing MANY different types together (because they are now seeing that the SatanCrats are what they are)

And I fear, and rightfully so, that our “republican party’ is so far compromsied,  we won’t get any support when things do go pear-shaped.  

Dunno,,, don’t wanna be the doom-sayer, but things are really heating up,,,,,,
