Didn’t go out and play with my brand spankin’ new straight off the machines Drysuit tonight. Had it with, but didn’t go to the lake (river is still way up for the time and movin’ fast,,, PASS)

Reason: Sore as shit, cold after all day in that daggum shop and just didn’t feel like doing much more than getting my arse home and takin’ care of the kidz and self, and getting a fire going so that the house stays warm (warmer than just using the wall heater, which really sucks down propane when the temps get below 30,,)

It ain’t going anywhere and honestly, would rather ‘make a day of it’ not just shrug my butt into the suit to jump in the water, fart off, then get back out to shrug back out of the damned thing. (it does require a bit of contortion, getting in AND getting zipped closed.) Pretty certain its plenty dry though. When i put in on yesterday, I wore it for a full 20 minutes. I wanted to see if I needed to trim the neck gasket (yes) and those will loosen up as they warm up: I wanted that time to see. (I trimmed a 1/4″ off and that helped a lot.) But while piddlin’round in it, I had to burp it three times. I was heating the air inside, and it was expanding, blowing that suit up like a balloon. And it couldn’t get out without letting it out the neck. (yes, i know water leaks through stuff that won’t pass air molecules,,, Seen it before. I have to trust the makers in this case, and they do have a good reputation despite the origins.)

I can wait, its not going away, just two more days and the weekendz is mine!!!

Last night was rough on this old body. Woke up at three aye-em and had to change the sheets, everything drenched in sweat. Before I had laid down, was suffering ‘head change’, like my head was overpressured, along with elevated heart rate.

Looks like my Drysuit is in London Ky this AM and that it might be slotted for delivery today OORAH!!! Gettin’ a might stoked on this.
